It's probably the best Applebee's i have ever had. Upon entry, you see the Tiki themed bar. It looks so inviting. Our server was fabulous, made sure our drinks were topped off, and the food came out hot and fast. Beer was ice cold. One dollar margaritas during happy hours, and they had a kick. I had the chicken fajita rollup with fries and appetizer chips and salsa with spinach artichoke dip.
Very nice atmosphere in this place... And the service was also very good they always came back to check on us every few moments to make sure everything was okay and we enjoyed our meal...I chose the Bourbon Street Burger so good it included mushroom and melted Swiss cheese along with onions and a Bourbon Street sauce...and those I was with chose to lime chicken and the Caesar salad... We did not wait long on our food and it was hot and delicious the price was also very reasonable for what we were served.
My steak was over cooked, and yet messed up an old fashioned(it was still good but not an old fashioned). I was kind of disappointed to see that they don't have free meals for Vets on memorial day anymore. But the waitress was really good tried her best to make an old fashioned, and take great care of us!
It's really unfortunate that I have to write this review because I really loved this location until tonight. I was disappointed to hear that my favorite dessert was out, easily forgivable though, not a big deal but to get our order with a missing side and The bourbon Street steak without the bourbon sauce... Still wasn't going to say anything, until I cut into my steak that was supposed to be rare but was medium WELL. Absolutely not. How do you mess that up ? Medium rare would have been acceptable but medium well was the absolute last straw. I'm not sure what was going on tonight but i don't feel like I can trust this location anymore.
I ordered curbside for Valentine’s Day 2023 . To my surprise the order didn’t take very long at all to receive. So with that in mind I feel the food wasn’t made fresh but I’m sure they were prepared for a busy night. I was over all happy with the food’s warmth once returning home. Not everything was correct we had ordered other sauces that were not added and I had ordered a steak with green beans and mashed potatoes . They forgot my mashed potatoes. My mother n law and I ordered the same meal she received hers and was kind enough to share some with me . We all decided it was good and the serving size was perfect.
Fun friendly atmosphere, quality reliable food, great happy hour and late night specials. The manager visited to check up on our meal, very polite and professional. And love the dollar-rita special.
We arrived and we had excellent service until the salads came out. I found a hair in my food. I understand that mistakes happen and politely requested a new salad. I wasn’t mad until our entrées came out and we found another salad in a steak. The manager then came out and told us that basically it was impossible that there was hair in our food and she didn’t understand because no one in the kitchen was “hairy”. The waitresses coming out of the kitchen all had medium-long hair. Our original waitress was amazing. I would not recommend this place for quality food service. The manager did take our food of our bill. But her response did not sit well overall. I’m very disappointed with my visit here.
Every time I've been there, the food has been great except this time. The sampler platter was overdone, spinach artichoke dip tasted like garlic was spilled in it, quesadilla salad was mushy like, and my 12 Oz sirloin, ordered medium well, and it was rare. My friend got some kind of pasta, she said it was good. I used to be frequent flyers, so 1 time out of 50, I can not give a bad review. I'm going to call and see if they will make it right.
