place was dead when i walked in at 8pm was a little concerned , but the waitress was so sweet , the drink deals were amazing and the drinks were great as well as the food!! :) the bourbon chicken is my fav
I thought it was just the applebees in St Augustine, but the one in Castleberry is worse. We wait 15min to be seated as the restaurant is like empty.. they have 1 waitress, and we have been waiting on our mageritas weren't made right, the cheese on the artichoke dip was burned and is very bland. It's like now I'm wondering. The steak my wife ordered is dry, the Spanish rise that I ordered with my chicken breast is dry too. We've been sitting here hoping to see a waitress pass by so we can speak to a manager, but no one has checked on us in like 30min. The only thing halfway descent at Applebee's is their $2.99 mageritas...don't waste your time or money. The owner reached out and provided a link that I could not copy and paste. So it seems that nothing will be done, although the young manager David was very understanding and tried to make it right, by fixing something different. He didn't really compensate for our time wasted or encourage us to revisit. We told David that we may since he was kind enough to fix the issues.
Ordered approx 35 minutes ago, and I arrived on time as my order was said to be ready by 10:17pm and it’s still not ready and I am writing this at 10:37pm. I already paid it was to go. No one addressed me when I came in, i had to go up to the bar for any type of assistance. Another couple was behind me, that EVENTUALLY got acknowledged some time after me having to seek help. Terrible service. I ordered 2 kids meals and one spinach dip. For two kids meals on a not busy night, not having it ready beyond the quoted timeframe is crazy to me. I get things happen but the expectations weren’t explained and it’s TO GO.
Saturday night around 7pm. We were seated right away. Food came out fast.
Drinks came out on time! Chris bought my son's food out right away so he would get cranky. Chris was the head waiter and he was amazing! My wife and I went there with my son. He was accommodating, friendly, and on point! I would definitely go there again and ask for Chris!
I usually go here for the 2 for 1s on Mutiny Oasis or domestic drafts, after work on certain days at the Bar*. I get exceptional service from Arianna, really appreciate her service especially when it gets busy, and always checks on you whenever she gets slammed. A lot of places do not show they type of concernmeant.
We came here because we were given a gift card as a gift. Honestly, I wish that I could trade the gift card in to someone else for a different restaurant! We waited about 20 minutes to be sat in a nearly empty restaurant. There were two tables in the dining room with patrons in them, and the rest were empty. Three of us ordered the all you can eat wings, ribs, and shrimp, and one person ordered the whiskey barbecue burger. The wings were actually decent although it took an excessively long time to get the order out. The server was really nice and brought us fresh fries Separately from the wings. The burger looked somewhat decent, but my friend did not finish it because it was entirely too sweet. I tasted it and it was pretty dry and bland. The refill of the wings took a really long time! We ordered the shrimp for one of The refills, and although the menu calls it double crispy shrimp, they were soggy and lukewarm, and tasted as if they were on. The third refill of wings took about 15 minutes, which seems really long when you are well into a meal. Getting the check, took forever too! This entire meal took over two hours for something that likely should have been wrapped up in under one hour. The server was fantastic although he was clearly handling most of the tables in the restaurant by himself. I saw somebody waiting for takeout for probably 45 minutes and ended up leaving empty-handed! I honestly do not know why this location is open if they are so severely understaffed in service and in the kitchen. I will likely be re-gifting these gift cards because I have no reason to return back to this restaurant chain. We ordered takeout a little before we were finished eating, and it took at least 30 minutes to bring out a single burger to go. Definitely do not go to this location unless you have hours to burn!
It was quite busy when we visited. So, the wait staff and kitchen did their best to take care of the guests. I have been here before and the service was good.... an unexpected rush in customers can have an impact on service when staff feels overwhelmed. The wait staff in my area always apologized as they worked to keep customers in the section happy.
The food was kinda just okay but our server Dani was amazing!!!! We came in with a large group and she was super nice, funny, and was a really impressive server overall. I would come back just for her honestly
