It was a great night at Applebee’s! Took Mom for appetizers after a long day out. I never really catch the late night, half off appetizer menu…but we did this time. Kylie served us. She was very sweet and an excellent server. We had cheese sticks, chicken wonton tacos and boneless wings. Have to laugh because the sign out front says, Boneless Shrimp. They ran out of letters!!! ???????????? We enjoyed the Wonton Tacos most. Cheese sticks needed a better marinara. Boneless wings were great too. Not usually stuff we eat, so it was a treat.
For some reason we never ate at Applebee's when I was home. But there's one next to the Home Depot in Crystal River so I decided to try it. The atmosphere was very nice and the seating looked clean and new. They had music in the background which was just at the right volume. I ordered the fish and chips and a draft beer. The draft beers were two for one, but I only managed to get through the first one. The fish and chips were very good. My server brought me extra tartar sauce for the fish. She was very nice and she handled a number of tables quite efficiently. Overall I really liked Applebee's and I wondered why we didn't go there before. They had a very good menu with specials around $10 for each day of the week, if you wanted to eat what was being served for that day. Fish and chips was on there, but unfortunately it was only to be served on Friday and it wasn't Friday. It was very good and I had left overs. I had a box to take home with me so I will have another meal out of that one. Just based on this one visit, I would definitely refer people to this restaurant. I will be back to try some of the other things on their menu. I really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant also.
Applebees in Crystal River FL is definitely a good spot to stop and have dinner! Tonight my family and I stopped in after the manatee festival, it was getting chilly and we were hungry for a warm meal! Applebees definitely came thru! Sabrina was our waitress! She provided awesome service for us, and brought out some DELICIOUS FOOD!! Hands down the best burger I’ve had in awhile! When she asked if I wanted it pink in the middle, they definitely delivered! Delicious food and great service is pretty hard to come by these days so thank you to the staff!! I really appreciate you all!
Pretty upset with today's experience. Kids pizza was half burnt. They called and were out of yogurt and strawberries so I was told fries would be substituted, when it arrived it was applesauce not fries. Also was missing my nachos, and when I called they offered me a gift card, which was admireable, but I wanted my food.. hence why I ordered. It was a little awkward asking them to send my food, and they seemed not to want to go through with that trouble. The rest of the food was good though, and we will see about the nachos. I hope that a fresh one was made since it has been almost 2 hours since I placed my order. We shall see. Fingers crossed next time is better.
UPDATE: nachos never came. Gift card never came. Highly dissatisfied.
Tyler S. is very attentive! Spends enough time to understand personal interests and helps with honest food selection and focus is there at the table makes you feel at home. Makes you want to return.
The service was terrible. It took 45 minutes to get 3 sodas 1 water and then order. Another 30 minutes to get coffee. Silverware was thrown on the table. There were 6 of us and only received 3, and some of it came flying out of the napkins. Mozzarella sticks and salad were tossed on the table. We asked for an update on food. They were just placing it on the order. 1 1/2 hour later, We left after that. Service was terrible.
My mom and I stopped by here for a quick lunch after doing some other activities for the day and for such a spontaneous stop, we had a really enjoyable time. We came on Valentine's day and weren't thinking about the holiday at the time so they were quite busy. However, Theresa, our server, did a wonderful job tending to all of the tables in her section and us a the same time and we never felt neglected (which, understandably, can tend to happen when it is busy). We were thoroughly impressed with her service and our food.
I always enjoy Applebee's. They always have really yummy drinks you can get at a pretty good price. Their food has went up like all other places, but it's still yummy. We went for my bday so I went big and was not disappointed. Was even able to get tortillas with my meal for the chicken and shrimp so it was almost like having fajitas. It was delicious.
