First time I had been to this cafe. Were made extremely welcome and found a seat to suit my needs, served a drink very promptly, followed by an excellent Sunday dinner. Choice of 3 meats, amazing crispy roast potatoes and no less than 7 different veg, all perfectly cooked. Lovely selection of home made puddings, the trifle we had was lovely. Will definitely go again. The owner and his staff were lovely and obviously knew their customers well, all of which seemed to be local people who frequented the place regularly.
We just had a first visit to apple's & pears & we'll definitely be back! Lovely homemade food and good value too.

Fantastic small cafe with very friendly staff/owners. Had fried breakfast which was not only very tasty but excellent value for money. My wife has the cheese on toast which also was very good, using tiger bread. Totally recommend this small family cafe A++
Absolutely fantastic! My husband and I found this place whilst on a short break in Paignton. The staff and customers were so friendly. Really nice atmosphere. My husband had a full English breakfast which he told me was the best he had eaten at a cafe in a long time. I had the cheese on toast. It was SO delicious and toasted to perfection. It was on tiger bread. I think it is the best cheese on toast I've ever eaten! I highly recommend this place.

Located near the palace Theatre paighton. Indoor and outdoor seating. Large Toilets. Easy parking. Breakfasts, main meals. Sandwiches, vegetarian meals, light bites, jacket potatoes, fish meals, Burgers, children menu,Omelettes, roast dinners . Desert menu.

i was with my gf for our 1 year and not only was the food disgraceful the service was even worse, we hated it so much we are never comimg again, and on top of that she has come down with food poisoning so im not happy, absolutely atrocious
The food is freshly made to order and tastes fantastic. The customer service is outstanding. I love the banter and the family feel this cafe has. Would highly recommend
