First time getting a shave and a haircut and it was wonderful, as their work always is.
I went in early at 9am and Richard was able to squeeze me in before his appointment. Told him I was in a rush and he was able to have me looking hella fresh in about 30 minutes.
The consistency of both Mary Jane and Pedro is outstanding. They are both very welcoming and are easy going. This Barber Shop is lively, they all have so much to talk about. That is not taking into consideration the talent they have with a machine and shears. They both are great! Being that they allow drop-in makes it convenient. There may be a wait, but it is well worth it.
The best place I've ever had a haircut.
The attention to detail by Mary-Jane is second to none.
Most people move and miss their doctor, dentist, etc...

Good people but don't let the African American guy cut your hair. Showed him a picture of what I wanted and completely botched the cut. It'll grow back but definitely not what I wanted or asked for. Never coming back ????
I had about 5-6 inches of hair on top and about 2-3 inches on the side. I asked for about an inch and a half off the top and half an inch off the sides, so it's all still long enough to be slicked back.
The African American male barber, who came off as very impatient as I was trying to explain what I wanted, completely disregarded what I had to say. Took everything off the sides and left like 2 inches on top. I can barely comb anything back now.
My type of hair requires it to be very long before it can be combed back properly. Good thing my hair grows fast. I made it clear that I was pretty upset and he insisted he was doing what I asked.
I consider myself a pretty patient, reasonable, and lenient customer, and I've had my share of haircuts that didn't quite go as I wanted. I usually let it go because it's still within the ballpark of what I wanted, but this man took it to another level.
I have no idea why I tipped, and he even asked if I wanted his business card after. No, thanks, this place has lost my business forever.
Mary jane and Pedro are two very talented barbers who know exactly what they are doing. They are always very nice to talk with, and they also give great service, and do their best to give what you want.
I've been going here for quite some time Mary Jane gives Great Haircuts gives you her full attention does beard trimming straight razor she's amazing I really love the old-school feel of the barbershop itself as well
