Best KPortal Reviews
Chips were nice and crispy. they just need a lighter oil. Salsa was good. Burrito Supreme was delicious, as was the chicken soup with little pieces of jalapeño. Service could have been a little more attractive but was sufficient.
I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews as I understand their potential impact on a business. While our recent dining experience was not entirely unpleasant, there were certain aspects that could be improved.
While eating, waitresses were using fly swatters to swat flies on the tables. Although the tables were wiped with a rag, no cleaning solution was used.
The food itself was satisfactory, without any significant complaints. However, our initial interaction with our waitress, who did not introduce herself, was rather impolite. She seemed inconvenienced by our presence and displayed reluctance when we requested silverware and straws. Her demeanor did improve towards the end of our meal.
It is worth noting that due to county ordinances in Floyd County, margaritas are not available. While this is not directly the establishment's fault, it does present a limitation for customers.
If your a truck driver passing through the food is excellent plus there's parking for big truck
Food was great, service was wonderful. Definitely going back.
I'm writing this as I sit at my table here, I will also state that I did eat most of my meal, so I gave the food rating 3 stars. It would have been higher if I had gotten what I wanted. I came to this location with my wife, and her food was great. Our problem was our server. She didn't tell us her name, but the receipt says Missy. She did not take our order on a notepad, which resulted in my food being wrong. I had asked for a beef chimichanga and received one for chicken. After about 15-20 minutes she finally came to check on us, I let her know about the mistake, and her response was, "Well, I think the chicken one is better anyway!" I told her I was going to eat it anyway. I didn't want to gamble on her coming back to the table any time soon, or wait another 20-30 minutes on my food. Before she left the table I asked her for to-go Churros. I don't like chocolate, ice cream, or whipped cream on mine and as I was trying to tell her this she just started walking away...I had to yell the rest of my order at her from like..10ft away. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but don't walk away when people are trying to make sure you don't mess up their food again.
Every other server I have had here has been great. This one was just not.
Great to have this option for dine in on a rural side of Floyd county. Antigua does mexican food as good as any other similar restaurant around the area Currently they only have beer offerings as Floyd County has not yet granted a liquor license. Great seating options both inside and out as well as the bar and plenty of parking.
Tonight was the second visit to Antigua, and we were just as pleased as our first visit, last Thursday. The food arrived hot and quick, and was seasoned well. We quite enjoyed the chips and salsa, as well. The chips aren't too thick but held up well to the salsa, which wasn't overly spicy.
On our first visit, I ordered the quesadillas rancheras with steak. There was so much steak, it was awesome and certainly a refreshing surprise from other Mexican restaurants I've visited. It was so good that my husband ordered it tonight, in fact.
My son had the cheese nachos with chicken and again, they did not skimp on the meat. Feeling like you get excellent value for what you've paid truly makes this a place we will be visiting again.
yall never disappoint. I’ve ate here several times rather that be picking up food or dining in. I absolutely love this place and I hope to continue to keep coming here!
