I've gotten pizza here twice now and its been the equivalent of a cheap arcade pizza with more topping options. The pizza base dough/bread, sauce, and cheese taste extremely low quality like worse than something you'd get at a theme park. The two pizzas I got were one half pepperoni and bacon half mushrooms and onions. That was decent but not good. The second just plain pepperoni which was pretty bad. I honestly only got the 2nd pizza because there was a promotion for a $5 pizza so that was a fair price to me for a bad quality pizza. But buying the pizza here at their normal price of $16+ is an absolute no from me. Honestly I wouldn't buy it again even if it was just $5. It's just really bad. Definitely don't recommend. Also, the tiramisu tastes weird and is $6 for a super tiny cup. I'll add a picture of the empty cup and a quarter for scale and for reference. In summary, there's better pizza everywhere else.
After coming back from Upnorth, where the pizza and ranch is just so much better and experiencing hot honey pizza for the first time.. I’ve been on the hunt for it down here ever since. So when I found out Anthony’s was adding it to their menu, I was super excited.
My expectations are set high so can’t blame them for not reaching them but a few things I will say about this pizza. I love that the crust is baked and fresh. However, whatever cheese they use is kind of gross.. it certainly doesn’t taste fresh. Once it start to dry, it turns to like a hard plastic texture. Actually not sure if that would be a sign for it being more real or fake? And then the price. It’s pretty expensive for this small basic pizza… compared to paying the same price for a large NY style pizza back home.
Overall it was good to try but would not come back just for it.
Was greeted the second my family walked in. Gabe was a great server and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was great. The wings and Pizza were amazing 10/10. I don't understand why this places isn't packed. My only tips is to open the shades and let some light in. It was super dark and gloomy. It didnt match your staff great positive energy. Will definitely be back.
I am a self labeled pizza connoisseur. Been lucky enough to have authentic NY style pizza in Brooklyn, Chicago deep dish in Chicago, and authentic neopoliton pizza in Napoli, Italy. (For those wondering yes the pizza in Napoli was my fav, can't lie!) And I absolutely love pizza in almost any form. The fave however is any wood-fire/coal-fire neopoliton style pizza with a slightly charred and crunchy outer layer, yet moist, hydrated soft, flavorful interior, where the mozzarella cheese is fresh and stringy, and sauce isn't heavy enough to soak through the crust. If this sounds like something you'd love, this is the place to go!! ???? And shall I mention the garlic knots are almost better than the pizza in my opinion! Freshly chopped garlic, romano, fresh parsley in olive oil (I add crushed red pepper flakes to their knots & oil dip to give it a kick) and just like the pizza crust I requested the knots well done. They come out crispy and slightly charred on the outside, slathered with the garlicky olive oil concoction and I love dipping them in the oil and devouring them. ???????? I swear by this place! And I've tried just about every chain/mom&pop pizzaria in town. Btw both visits the servers were extremely pleasant. Tonight despite every table being full when we got there and a ~6 min wait while our server cleaned off the table the previous guests just left we had an awesome experience. Only thing I felt was lacking in the design of the place is due to the extreme open floorplan noise travels easily and the ambiance seems noisy when they're full. Still the place was full of friends, families and pizza lovers; so my kinda crowd (can't complain!) Did I mention the owner/manager checked in on us as we were leaving and seemed like a great down to earth fella, actually helped our server clear out our table. Really impressed ????????
I ordered a delivery. The pizza was ok at best. They were very stingy with the sausage toppings so my pizza barely has any on every slice. I asked for extra sauce on it and it was put on top of the cheese instead of under which makes me think it wasn't made fresh they probably just put the sauce and toppings on an already made cheese pizza. I won't be ordering from here anymore for that price and how little toppings I got. Unacceptable Anthony!
Best pizzeria in town! Quality ingredients and freshness with every dish! My only wish (a silly one) is that they didn't use styrofoam to-go boxes. Paper would preferred as a more natural material.
We brought a big group here prior to a show at SideSplitters and the food was wonderful and the staff was so accommodating. Our server Anna was great. She got us out in time for the show. Highly recommend!
Delicious pizza! $10 cheese pie special on Wednesday, ice cold beer, bangin garlic knots (i mean amazing, look at that garlic & parm piled high!) & friendly service. Joined the rewards program to start saving even more,we'll definitely be back again! ????????????
