First time eating here. Ordered the Classic French Toast. The server brought out complimentary biscuit beignets (cause it was my first time in), covered in powdered sugar, and they were delicious with the sauce. The french toast was very good, and the breakfast potatoes were nice and crispy.
Service was excellent, and they give a really generous portion of food compared to other breakfast places at a similar price point. I couldn't finish the French Toast so it will become either breakfast tomorrow or a late night meal, there was that much left.
I will definitely be back.
The food was amazing, the only thing I wasn’t a fan of on my plate was the English muffin. I love those but it was dry, not buttered and not offered with butter. It wasn’t the main dish or portion of the food so it didn’t matter too much. The food besides that was awesome, we were sat fast because we were a party of 2 and it was just a great experience. The cookie dough waffle was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed my omelet. I LOVED the potatoes, they came out hot, crispy and just delicious! Only reason I gave service a little ding was because we had to wait like 15min to get our check and cash out. They took a while to bring us the check, but they were quick to try to get us to leave to use the table that we were at for a large party
First time eating here. I love breakfast. And this breakfast café hits the spot. Breakfast/brunch and a minimal lunch menu are offered. They are open from 7 am till 3 pm. Location-wise, it's very close to Orlando International Airport. So, it's a convenient drive as soon as you arrive in Orlando. The menu has a lot to offer. Lots of platters, combinations, and a la cart. The standouts are the omellletts, biscuit beignets, maple chicken sausage, chicken and waffles (I almost ordered it), eggs benedict (some have seafood), and traditional fare, i.e. pancakes, toast, potatoes, fresh fruit. The atmosphere is family-friendly. However, the noise level is left to be desired. It's very loud during peak service, i.e. brunch. The tables are very close to each other, and you can hear different conversations all at once. Service needs work, too. I went with my mom and were greeted by our server and offered something to drink. After that, she got caught up taking orders from other tables with families (one had 5 and the other had 11). We waited 20 minutes before placing our order. Luckily, a shift manager approached us and was kind to take our orders. The food came quickly soon after. But, one of our orders was almost forgotten, the biscuit beignets, which we ended up taking to go, along with the check. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but they need to be more attentive to the customers. I would still recommend eating here.
The food was great, but the service was slow. When my friend and I were seated, the server did not come to take our drink order. After waiting for 15 minutes, I asked a server if it would be much longer. The waitress who was supposed to take care of us ran over and said she was told to leave. That server saw us sitting there the whole time and ignored us. However, the waitress that did take care of us was extremely polite and offered great service.
Husband and I were looking for a brunch spot that had mimosas. We decided to go here since we've never been before. Going with no expectations, we actually really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and they had pitchers on mimosas that were just as good. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely be going back. May suggest going a bit early as when we were heading out there, it looked to be a bit of a wait.
The food was ok, but not as good as in Atlanta. Also this location is not as generous on the portions, however they did bring what was requested right away. The eggs did not appear to be cooked fresh (See photo). I guess that Georgia hospitality is something that is hard to duplicate. I ordered beignets to go when I placed my meal order. I asked the young man if my Togo order was almost ready. He said yes then grabs the check from my hand and runs back to get them. He then came back with a cold, rock hard order of beignets. ????
So my sister has been trying to get to this place for quite some time and we were finally able to get in. The line was long and so was the wait time however we squeezed our way in quicker by sitting at the bar.
So here's nothing.. I ordered the mascarpone lemon berry pancakes with eggs and bacon and my sister had the seafood omelet, shrimp and grits and a side of grits.
Presentation was wonderful and the taste was great as well but it wasn't as hot as it should've been for any of it.
I am a person who likes sweets and my pancakes were just right without syrup. My eggs were cooked just like I ordered and my bacon was good too.
My sister said the seafood omelet was full of crab meat and flavorful but it was cool. The grits were good and creamy along with her bacon but the shrimp and grits were cold as well.
I will say, when the waitress learned this she immediately sent the manager over to share. Unbeknownst to us, she credited our order for the inconvenience even after we told her everything was good. What a good experience that was. She didn't have to do that and we didn't know she did until the ticket came out.
Overall, this was a good experience minus the temperature of the food but nevertheless, I'd come back. Good customer service goes a long way for me.
Lemon blueberry pancakes 10/10 amazing balance of flavors
Chicken waffles 9/10 juicy and delicious
Poached egg 8/10
The only thing I didn't like was that I asked if anything on my plate had onions on it and they said no but the hash browns did have onions inside
But overall good food, good service, good atmosphere.
