Overall pleasant experience. To expedite getting seated, you should add yourself to the waitlist. It may or may not be a wait to get seated. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, I ordered the shrimp n city Benedict and side of bacon. Both entrees were average at best. The shrimp and grits had regular sausage, not the andouille sausage as stated on the menu. My shrimp and city grits Benedict wasn’t like the picture. The fried grits seemed more like a biscuit and there was maybe 2 shrimps at best in the meal along with sausage patties. The side of bacon and pancakes were delicious! I recommend eating the pancakes hot, I usually let mine sit for awhile to see how they taste cold and they were still good. (Not hard or tough to cut)the raspberry tea was good as well, I’m not sure if you get free refills on that. Also had a regular coffee which was tasty/flavorful with refill. I wouldn’t recommend the 2 meals but we are going to revisit again in the future to try other items. It’s a nice menu with plenty of adult beverages and juices.
Loved this place! I was able to add myself to the waitlist before I even left my hotel so I could be seated almost immediately after arriving at the restaurant. The food was awesome and the coffee was really good! The English muffin that came with my omelette tasted homemade and was the best English muffin I have ever had! I love that they will allow you to add fruit to your meal rather than grits or hash browns. My husband got the lemon shortbread French toast and thought it was excellent! It is a lot of food and he wasn’t able to finish his.
This was my first visit to this location on Atlantic Boulevard and it was an absolute delight.

We arrived at about 10 o’clock, so there was not much of a crowd, and the weather was so beautiful we elected to sit outside.
We were quickly met by Tori with all questions answered about menu items.
I settled in on the Shrimp and Grits and my son had the Sausage Eggs Benedict.
With in just a little while both dishes came to the table and the real fun began.
Hunter absolutely loved the Sausage Benedict . The Shrimp and grits were very tasty and had great flavor, however, I have had shrimp and grits all over the south east and here locally that I enjoy much much better than what I had today.
There are so many options on the menu that sounded really good I would definitely come back to the Another Broken Egg Café and give them another try.

This was my first visit to a Jacksonville location. My son took me to breakfast for my birthday here. It was some good food, fantastic service, and nice atmosphere. Told the server it was my birthday and the beignets were on the house. Wasn’t super impressed with the temperature of my food though. I wish I had asked for more special syrup for my pancakes. Bacon was cooked to perfection. Recommend anyone to visit.
Food is so good and portions are great for a reasonable price! Staff is all so friendly. Grant was our server and he was great and got everything perfect. Thank you!
Went on easter, and service was perfect. Food was perfect. They dont serve hashbrowns, but the sausage was homemade. Wifes eggs benny was delicious also.
Great food, large portions, has outdoor seating. Has a brunch menu with an abundance of drinks to choose from. Highly recommend ????
We go every Sunday morning. Very wonderful service. The Martigra omelet is the best. My son loves their pancakes and waffles. My wife loves the French toast. The outside atmosphere is very peaceful.
