This is my second visit to this location. I visit here when I vacation in the area. The pepperoni pizza is really good. I enjoy the brick oven taste. However, I wish they offered some type of specials or deals like other places. They are a little pricey.
Update: Returned the next day to try the sausage pizza and it was equally delicious. I will definitely return to Anna's Pizza when I revisit this area!
Okay food but there were a few things that need to be improved.
If you list caramelized onions as a topping then don’t lie and take shortcuts. The onions need to be caramelized. If I’m taking a bite of my calzone and the onion crunches it is nowhere close to caramelized. If you are going to be lazy with your restaurant then just list “onions”. I didn’t get them but I bet their “roasted red peppers” are thrown on raw too.
The wings were soggy. The restaurant puts them in a take out box with vent holes but doesn’t open the vent holes. Makes no sense.
3 toppings in the calzone but it was almost all cheese. If you pay for each topping you expect a pretty loaded calzone getting 3 of them.
The caramelized onion thing really gets to me because a lot of restaurants do it. Caramelized onions are delicious. Raw onions do not belong on pizza or in calzones. Period. They do not cook enough and permeate the meal with a raw onion funk. Not as big of a deal if you don’t specify they are caramelized because then I wouldn’t ask for them.
Overall everything is fixable so hopefully the restaurant sees this review and fixes them. If they take pride in their food and respect their customers they will.
I had my son's graduation party there. The entire process, from the reservation to the day of the party, was easy, taking into account every detail. The food and atmosphere exceeded my expectations, and all the guests left very happy. Thank you very much Annalisa for contributing to make this event memorable for my son, family and friends.
Kind of a hidden gem in a small stripmall, but the inside of the restaurant is much bigger. I had a calzone and it was awesome. Our server was great. My only suggestion is to make the place brighter inside as it just seemed so dark, I think the high ceilings just magnified the effect of darkness. The price is a teenie bit higher than other similar venues but the food quality adjusts for that I think. My wife didn't like her spaghetti pasta but it looked great to me.
We stopped by Carrabba's but they had a lengthy wait even at 7:30 on a Monday. We remembered seeing this place and gave it a shot. Such a great call! Our waitress was Sophie, so nice and checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. They made pasta exactly to order for my picky eater and she loved it! The pizza was omg delicious! And the spaghetti and meatballs were perfect! Don't believe the negative reviews, go for yourself! So glad we did ❤️
Very good pizza! Was traveling through here since I had to make a haul tomorrow morning so I decided to stop in and grab a pizza and beer for myself. The pizza with Pepperoni will be fine, I just wouldn't recommend the Italian sausage on it as it detracts some of the flavor imo. The fried mozzarella sticks were alright, nothing too special.
Server and hostess helped answer my questions very well and will definitely be visiting again when I make a haul back around this area again.
While visiting Williamsburg with my son we stumbled into this place for dinner. My son ordered Lasagna and he liked it. I ordered Pizza and while it was a good portion and had good ingredients I felt the dough was a bit chewy and could've used a bit more prep work. I might give it another chance next time. Service was good and attentive. Place could use a bit more decor, but overall it was spacious.
Anna's was a really pleasant experience. Our server, Anna, was very friendly and not overbearing. My son ordered the meat lovers pizza with olives and mushrooms and said it was really good. My husband enjoyed his chicken marsala. My daughter liked her lasagna, she said it wasn't the best but it was a decent lasagna. I liked the penne pasta vodka as well. I would recommend Anna's with it's quiet, friendly atmosphere.
