We use the ferry landing to do crewchanges for Western Rivers Boag management. They have a fleet right above the the ferry landing. The ferry is designated for angola prison employees and doesn't handle Public transport except during the rod3o.
I'm working up this way now and it's a blessing that they let us crew change here great buncha folks
it took me to Prison but all around great experience solid 5 stars!
Planned our trip based off the ferry allowing people to cross for the rodeo. Today they were not allowing people to cross. Complete disappointment. Sure glad my tax dollars par for a ferry I'm not allowed to use.
The ferry is active on the rodeo weekends. The sign at Angola says rodeo Sundays it runs 3:30am-11:30am & 3:30pm-8:30pm. Maps doesn’t show the roads to the ferry at Angola but they do put up good signage to know where your going.
Got a chill ( in a professional type of way ) crew out there. Made crew change with my company a breeze. Appreciate y'all!
