Best KPortal Reviews

Wow!! What can I say?
The best Sunday lunch I’ve had in the whole of Northumberland and Tyneside.
We visited today on my friends recommendation and had the Sunday lunch.
Several hours later I’m still blown away with the quality and astounding value that we received, along with the fantastic service by the young lady serving.
I opted for the regular Sunday lunch on advice that the large would be to much, even though I’m a big guy.
The option to have beef, pork and chicken was great and there was a more than generous portion of each.
Mash was A1 as were the roast potatoes, carrots, green beans, broccoli and peas all so fresh and perfectly cooked.
As for the Yorkshire pudding, ah man heaven it was perfect.
Gravy boat fab in the fact you could tell it had been made with the meat juices and the taste sublime.
Not one to add points but I’ve got to give it 15 out of 10.
I’m sure the outside of the place may put people off but it’s a work in progress being done.
All the best things are found where you don’t expect them.
Fab guys keep it up, I’m coming back.
Go to Amble and you’ve got to eat here, you’ll be blown away with quality and value. Price I quote is with a soft drink.
Ps I had eaten a bit when I took the pic.
Visited here whilst on holiday on all the nights we were here. The staff and others are so friendly and welcoming, prices are decent and drinks are great quality too. Love the music that is played on the Duke box too. It's also very dog friendly and has a large pool table and 2 darts boards. Plenty of televisions for those that enjoy sports too. And there's a quieter area away from the televisions etc if that's how you like to enjoy your drinks. There's something for everyone and I would highly recommend this local pub to visitors, you'll be welcomed muchly.
Really nice pub, very friendly management team
This is one of the nicest, most welcoming pub we have ever been in, not just staff but clientele are so friendly, just wish we had found you at the beginning of our holiday, superb establishment, you need to call in people, very dog friendly, we loved you xxx
So we found a dog friendly pub to get lunch today, never been before but will definitely go back . Food was beautiful all homemade, very fresh, and lots of it. Price was amazing too.
The gentleman who served us was fabulous, very kind and friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend ????
Lovely pub very friendly and the dinners are very filling
As a holiday maker i like to go to the areas local pubs and not the ones designed for visitors, friendly people happy to chat if you make the effort,my go to place in Amble.
