Best KPortal Reviews
My family’s favorite Mexican restaurant! Been going there for at least 20 yrs. The service and the quality of food has always been exceptional. They never mind you customizing a dish (it costs extra of course). Food always comes fast and hot! Love it. Chilaquiles are the best!!! Top with costillas con chile verde, machaca or carne asada. Their beans and rice are great! The green chili burrito is amazing! The cocido is yummy. Menudo is great too!
The food is incredible it reminds me of going to my grandparents house and eating. The staff are so warm and kind 10/10. With all the options in the area this place surpasses all of them. Thank you for the food and experience.
Well I have been coming here for years since I grew up in Norwalk. This has always been my goto place for breakfast, especially the green chilaquilles. Mmmmm!! Buy then again all the food is tasty here. I still come by at least 1-2 times a week dice I moved to Pico Rivera in 2004. The owners are great!
This is one of the best holes in the wall I have ever been to. This place is a must! Food was delicious and had great flavor. It was my first time coming here and I will definitely be coming back for more.
Been going to Angie's for many years. Love their beans. Their the best beans I ever ate. I live in Orange county now and still drive to get beans.
Great Low Key Spot.
My fiancé recommended this place to me so I figured I’d give it a shot.
This place is small and very low key. The food was really good and prices were very reasonable. When we got there all the seats were full and there was a small wait, which meant it was probably a good spot. Shortly after arriving we were seated. The servers weee very friendly and quick to provide service.
The chips were homemade and perfect, consistently cooked but not burnt and not saggy. The salsas were all homemade and very delicious.
I tried the red pork tamale and chili verde pork with potatoes, egg and beans. My partner in crime ordered chiliquiles with salsa verde. All of it was very delicious and well worth the wait and drive.
I ordered the Chile Verde wet burrito ???? and it was ????. Also, the Menudo was on point, too... I'm definitely going to return... They just close too early.
Stopped by to pick up menudo because my boyfriend was under the weather. It looks like it is a small family own restaurant. It was very clean. The server was very friendly. She sat us down quickly and service was prompt. They have champurrado during the cold weather, and we ordered 1. It was very tasty! The texture was very creamy, and not too sweet. They also offered homemade chips and dips. The chips came out warm. Menudo was served hot, I mean very hot. It was flavorful that is perfect for the cold weather. Will come back again for menudo!
