IM SO TIRED OF ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE AND MY FOOD NOT BEING RIGHT. Last week I got 3 large pizza’s delivered, and do you know they were ALL over cooked and burnt! Today I gave them another try by ordering another hoagie I just could not eat. A hole Tuna Hoagie and they ruined it by putting it in their pizza oven and cooking it to crisp! WTH Angelo’s? And they would not remake my sandwich, so I’m at a loss yet again. I cannot deal. You all have missed the customer service mark. Who the hell wants hot tuna as a hoagie! You all should be ashamed! I’m DONE!
Every time I order from Angelo's it's either hit or miss, I will share images if I can of how disgusting the pizza looks. I specifically ordered a large pizza baked lightly, with extra cheese. However, when I got home it wasn't baked lightly, and where was the extra cheese???
When I called and expressed this, they would not take accountability. I sent over images and spoke with Renee, and she relayed a message back from the owner, and chose to try to overtalk me which she couldn't.???? She had to be immature and get out that I could take my business somewhere else. Poor professional customer service.
If you read the reviews you will see for yourself that they care less about the service they provide to customers. If they get the orders correct on the first try customers wouldn't have to call with complaints.
With any business that gets busy, the food and orders SHOULD NOT DIFFER! Duh, it's a pizza place, and most get super busy, but the quality of food and customer service should be nothing but the BEST!!! There's ZERO EXCUSES FOR THIS!!! Get out of the restaurant business if you're overwhelmed and tired of customers expecting to get what they paid for.
Joey, and his whole staff are good people. Not to mention this isn't a fly by night operation. I believe ANGELO'S PIZZERIA has been located in Bloomfield since 1976. That says all you need to know about this great Italian food establishment. IMHO. If it wasn't any good it would of closed decades ago. Great food , great employees, and a great owner. Joe you rock. Thank you for being a business owner in Bloomfield aka Little Italy.
Pizza was okay. Not really memorable. Ya know how good or great pizza sticks in your mind. This didn't. Nice helping of cheese tho.
Also got the an Italian sausage hoagie. 2 stars for that. Was burned and very little on it. Would not recommend. Looked nice. But the taste was not there for me.
I have been eating from Angelos since I was A kid. I delivered my kids at West Penn so I could get A hoagie after my appointments. Me an my family were walking around Bloomfield last week an Stopped for dinner. The food was great an the Service was so Amazing. The Staff was friendly an really went above an beyond to make sure we taken care of. We ordered alot of different foods an it was me an 2 other families with us so they were kept busy an but were so nice about everything. I dont leave to many reviews for things but they deserve a shout out for sure.
The Italian hoagie was fantastic. Bread can make or bread a hoagie, and this was clearly high quality bread and was perfectly toasted. Get the homemade mayo - you won’t be disappointed. even if you don’t like Mayo - this is more like a garlic pepper spread with great flavor. Will definitely be back and this time won’t be willing to share :)
The flavor is great but there was so much cheese on my pizza that it just slid off, along with the toppings and we kinda had to just pick it up with the crust.
I also got pepperoni on half only and even wrote in all caps on the special instruction and they did all pep and toppings on half! Hahaha kinda funny. But not when the other person doesn't eat meat.
Terrible customer service. As I was accused of ordering food/not picking up when I've ordered multiple times from this money hungry establishment. Spending a good bit of money here which I will NOT be returning. Trying to make me pay for someone's else's food to order my own. I've never been treated this way by a "business" that I've knowingly spent a good deal of money. TERRIBLE! I just wanted to order my child and I some food after a long day/week of work. Be aware as they try to make people pay for other people's food!!!
