I'm from the Philly area originally and I couldn't find decent pizza here to save my life. I had given up until someone at my church suggested this place. I thought, heck, I'll try. I regret NOTHING. I will never go anywhere else. Angelo's till I die. Give me more. MORE!! ALL THE PIZZA! Also, the decor is super fun.
I had the Turkey sub w/fries. Devon's service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the small town restaurant. It is a "10"
We always enjoy going to Angelo's for a lunch or dinner. A big plus is they are open on Sundays when most places in the area are not. Love the Ribeye sub an the shrimp basket!
We are visiting the local state park from Roanoke and had been told about Angelo's. This place has the best seafood I have had outside of Maryland. The crab cakes were delicious and made with very little filler. Everyone in our group loved their food. Everything that we had was wonderful. The service was fast and friendly. I'm hoping that we get another chance to go before we leave the area. See you there.
Food was served to each of us at different times. My daughter and I ordered steak 1 with scallops 1 with shrimp so we could share. Both came with shrimp. Loaded potate came with mozzarella cheese and bacon. No butter or sour cream by the time I got it, the potato was cold. We all had almost finished our dinner, and the server finally brought my granddaughter mayo for her sandwich and her BAG of chips. We were there over 2 hrs. With to infants. I had bragged about this place. My family drove over an hr just to eat there. ???? Will not go back way too expensive for the service and BAGGED Lay's potato chips.
Very friendly and attentive staff, great menu includes Italian dishes ???? as well as Seafood ???? . All of our plates looked fabulous, but ???? (always a butt) nothing had any flavor. ???? Seasonings don't have to be overpowering, but adding a small amount could help elevate Spaghetti sauce or fish batter to the next level (maybe 4 stars instead of 3). Don't know if I will be back to try other offerings.....
The pizza and service was good. Their prices are also very affordable.
We're new to the area and my husband is ridiculously picky about what he considers "real" pizza. This place has it! Very delicious! Everything we've tried has been amazing! Gyros, wings, fried oysters, onion rings, the steak & cheese sandwich, and of course, the pizza!! We can't wait to go again & try even more items! Love this place. The staff is so nice too!
I will say the parking situation is tricky.
