Such an intimate and personalized dinning experience! Immediately upon landing in Phoenix for a weekend vacation, I drove to the closest Nigerian restaurant and Angel’s Naija Cuisine did not disappoint. Not only was the food very delicious (I had Ogbonna soup and pounded yam), the owner was exceptionally kind and fostered an intimate dining experience for myself and the other guests that were there for lunch. She even allowed us to taste various soups before making our selection which I certainly appreciated. As you can tell from the picture, I couldn’t wait to dig in to my meal. If you’re ever in Phoenix, be sure to visit this family owned restaurant with delicious food for what will be sure to be an exceptional dining experience by a native Nigerian. :)
Went to this Nigerian restaurant. BEST FOOD EVER. It was 5⭐️ with authentic food. I am def going again. Clearly my daughter also enjoyed her meal. Shout out to the chief !!!
This is the best Nigerian restaurant in ARIZONA. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. Customer service is amazing. I need everyone to come patronize this lovely woman’s business. Thank you ma for your kindness
This cuisine reminds me of back home in Nigeria. The food tastes so authentic and homemade. As I was feasting, I could tell my food was made by a true Nigerian hand with love. If you want to taste a real Nigerian dish, you already know where to go, Angel’s Naija Cuisine.
My Son (age 13) and I have never tried Nigerian food before and wanted to venture out and try something out of our normal cuisine. I am so excited we did and blessed that our adventure took us to Angels Naija Cuisine!! The owner was absolutely amazing and welcomed us with a smile and full of knowledge of the food and traditions the moment we walked in. We tried several different dishes and loved all of them! The portions are large so easy to share. One dish we tried was Egusi and Yam powder and that was out of this world! The dish was full of traditional spices and herbs to really allow your pallet a new experience. They offer several different rice to choose from and all are made to perfections. We will diffidently come back soon. I recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Nigerian food in the valley of the sun.
First time visiting. We wanted a dine in restaurant & were referred there by Naija soul kitchen catering company. We arrived about an hour before closing. We were promptly greeted and sat down. The food was good and the customer service is impressive. I’m truly happy to have met the owner she made me and kids feel right at home. The dishes she used were beautiful also. I recommend this restaurant especially for Yoruba folks looking for a dine in experience.
Traveling through Phoenix from DC and stopped here after a bit of googling to fulfill a craving for Egusi and Yam. Absolutely fantastic!! The BEST I’ve had in a long time while traveling. I ate in and enjoyed my bowl with a cold malt, while watching the movie on the screen. Excellent atmosphere and host. Will definitely be back should my travels bring me back here to Phoenix.
Now from here…. straight to the hotel for a nap !! ????
I wanted to love this place but had to change my review, 4 hours after i ate i felt sick to my stomach and as I lay down i feel nauseous.
I also read the bad reviews and have the same feedback. The goat was chewy and dry and didnt appear very fresh. The food was cold. Our food was packed to take out we were not invited to sit there.
It doesn’t appear that the owner has taken any feedback seriously and made an attempt to addressed it which is sad as the same complaint is coming up again and again…..
