I dropped off an engine block and crankshaft to get worked on. I was told that it would take 3 to 4 weeks. I was good with that because I heard they do great work. I hadn't heard anything after almost 2 months. They hadn't gotten to it yet. I called 2 weeks later and they had the block and crank machined but they were waiting for cam bearings and freeze plugs to come in. I waited 2 more weeks and the status remained the same. I would have waited for them to finish but they have a worker that was rude to me every time I called. Toto was very unprofessional and argumentative. When we asked to talk to his manger and/or owner he replied, "why nothing is going to happen". I don't mind waiting for quality but they lost business because of poor customer service from one individual. I have other engines I need done but I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Very reasonable price, and went totally out of his way to get a metal chain guide for my 22re engine. The head worked great after the rebuild. Highly recommend them!

Time for rebuild was not pushed by no means. I was in no hurry to get the engine back. Timespan was on par with quotes from other builders. Price was WAY below most builders in town. I could not find another builder with a better price. I would recommend Anderson for any engine rebuild. As a matter of fact, i will be bringing them my Toyota 22RE this coming week. GREAT BUSINESS!!!!
I have used Mr. Anderson for years... I actually have used others but when it's for my car... It only goes to Anderson machine shop... this place is the definition of old school. You do not ask when it's going to be ready... Just let them do it the way they do it slowly & correctly... Right the first time!
Rebuilt a 400 mod for me long time ago excellent machine work great place more people need to know about this shop . Very dependable and knowledgeable.
