Best KPortal Reviews
Best fish and chips I ever had. So fresh and delicious. Excellent friendly service. Quaint atmosphere. They use fresh peanut oil in the fryer which is 100 times better than soy oil. The coleslaw is delicious too. Highly recommended. A local hangout for those who want the best food.
This is one of the best dedicated fish and chip restaurants I know! There aren't many dedicated fish and chip places anymore in a lot of areas, but we're lucky to have this place and a few other in the Roseville area.
The fish is pollock I think and is fried to order, no ready made under a heat lamp stuff here. Crispy and nice as are the fries.
Really wanted to love! Google says outdoor seating, had dog so went, there aren’t any chairs at the two outdoor tables, also can’t get a beer if you eat outside. Loved the homey, humble atmosphere, family business feel. Even the worship music playing! Fried zucchini was great! Fish ok but little flavor and very thin fillets. Fries were inedible for me, overcooked, hard, flavorless. Terrible texture. But! Very busy and packed so maybe just me! Wish them lots of success despite! : )
Our fish and chips are very good. The fish was cut into large thin fillets. All the food was fresh and hot.
At first, we did not feel welcome here. , because the server at the front counter told us that since it was just over a 1/2 an hour until close,. We could only get food to go. We wanted to eat the food there so we left. Then, the employee chased us out in the parking lot and asked us to stay. We are glad that we stayed, because the food was very good.
The fish had NO flavor, not even a fish flavor the fries were over cooked. it was not good at all, super greasy waist of $30
Great fish and chips for no meat Fridays. Locally owned. Been around for a long time. Offers wine as well while waiting for your food. Good value for your money. Waitress can get refills for water, tarter sauce. And ketchup. Thanks.
This place is our family's go-to spot for fish and chips. We're a fan of the portion sizes and the overall great quality food here. We normally order for pickup, and the wait times are manageable so we're not waiting for too long. The actual atmosphere is cartographer-friendly since most tables feature maps, which also makes for a child-friendly conversation piece.
The food was ok. Lacked flavor to me. But overall didn’t feel heavy after eating which was nice. Didn’t like the ketchup was in packets. 4 stars for the atmosphere and service.
