Best KPortal Reviews
I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The service and ambiance were great. The food was quite delicious and this place offered decent portions. My friends and I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower, Corn & Crab Soup and Avocado & Roasted Corn Salad to start. Both were good but I would definitely return for the soup. We also ordered Lamb Chops, Halibut and Beef Short Rib; all were delicious. We also got a naan and garlic naan, which were both great but I wish we had larger portions. We got a slice of chocolate cake for desert, as part of the birthday treat from the restaurant.
The drinks were great, and the bartender makes really good cocktails. They have a nice, small bar area where you can sit in and enjoy drinks before or after dinner. They also have an extensive wine selection.
All in all, between the three of us we spent ~$275 on dinner, including my friend and I getting two drinks each. It’s a little on the higher end and I didn’t like the automatic 20% gratuity but the food was great.
I would definitely return. I’m looking forward to enjoying the outside patio area in the summer time.
My first time here and first time trying elevated Indian cuisine. Absolutely incredible experience with probably the best service I've ever experienced. Appetizers, entrees, and dessert were perfect. I will be back again for sure next time I'm in the area from Virginia.
Met friends here for dinner on a Saturday night. Upscale Indian food, good quality overall. Nice selection of traditional dishes and some updates. The presentation was good, the service very professional and attentive.
Everything we tasted was delicious.
I enjoyed the lamb shank and the samosas. Naan breads were well made as well.
Lovely decor.
We will return.
Wow! What a great experience, as someone who has gone to many different Indian Restaurants it was a very good experience and the food was amazing.
We had the Malai Kofta, Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka, and Cilantro Lime Paneer.
The Malai Kofta, Lamb Vindaloo, and Cilantro Lime Paneer were absolutely outstanding dishes.
The Chicken Tikka was good but didn’t blow us away, was more similar to a Butter Chicken than a Tikka.
It was a little loud when we went but understandable as it was completely packed.
Definitely not the cheapest place but still worth trying!
Had a fantastic meal celebrating 15 years of marriage? The service was fantastic. The food was terrific, the atmosphere was awesome. Just amazing. We were sitting by the fireplace this was lovely.
Ananda is an upscale Indian restaurant located in a leafy suburb of Baltimore. It’s an aristocratic style place adorned with a beautiful bar and an expansive list of wines to choose from. The decor and atmosphere is pleasant. Plenty of outdoor seating with a beautiful touch of romantic lights is a plus. Food is amazingly delicious but somehow totally Americanized to satisfy their clientele taste buds. Overall staff is courteous but the receptionist was kind of cold and acknowledged us after several minutes. A good place to entertain your guest and indulge in delicate food and a pleasant atmosphere.
I visited for the first time recently. I am not really sure about how I feel about the food. I absolutely love Indian food, especially authentic Indian. This restaurant is more of a fusion restaurant or Indian with a flair. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. The service is great. The outdoor seating is comfortable and beautiful. I will definitely have to check it out again in order to give a great review. I will say that I think it was very pricey for the portions of the food. The food itself was delicious, just unexpected.
Hands down our favourite spot to dine out for any occasion. Enchanting, warm inviting atmosphere inside and out. Creatively delicious food and drink with gorgeous presentation and exceptional service. We love the seasonal farm to table touches from the proprietor’s very own farm. Great for date night, special occasions, or just to be transported from the daily grind. This is where we take guests visiting from out of town and they ALL swoon. The staff at this restaurant clearly take pride in what they do and are constantly finding ways to make it even better. If you haven’t been, you are missing out. It is always a delight.
