Anacapa Auto Body & Paint is the best! I needed a repair and my insurance company kept sending after markets parts, often damaged, instead of the my car makers actual parts. Kayla would deal with them on the phone and then again their would send after market parts. Kayla didn't give up; finally after back and forth many times and repeated phone calls the insurance company sent the actual new parts. Kayla and her father John run a great, high quality repair shop. I am so glad I found them.
Wow, John goes above and beyond.
This was the best car repair experience i’ve ever had. John truly cares about the work he does and the customer. He stands by his hard work and you can tell it’s his passion to make sure a job is complete to his high standard. God forbid i get in another accident, If so i’m bringing my car straight John.

John is not just a mechanic but he truly has a kind heart and will work with you to sort out any issue you have. John is an amazingly kind and wonderful person! He was able to fix my driver’s side bender without replacing any parts, all the while looking out for a fellow college student with a super fair estimate. It took about a week to fix because they are BOOKED. Can’t recommend this shop enough!

Looking for an honest tradesmen is extremely difficult nowadays. I did my due diligence got six quotes. Not only was John from Anacapa the lowest price he was willing to give me a straightforward price.
Most other companies were adamant about having to have the vehicle for a couple days and then they would give me an estimate, but they were not going to finalize the price until they were finished with the job. He gave me a not to exceed price and actually beat the price by $500 less when he completed the job and collected payment. The work he did was top notch and the price was unbeatable..
I could not emphasize how honest and professional John was with us! I would highly recommend anacapa auto to anybody looking to have professional work done on there vehicle.

Go here for body work! Excellent service! Their priority is to satisfy YOU, not the insurance company. My car looked perfect when I got it back--inside and out as they had detailed it beautifully! John is a great guy as is his daughter at the front desk, Kayla--hard working, and very sweet. They facilitated getting me my rental car, and even returned it for me when my car was ready. Skip going to a big, corporate run body shop and go here. You won't regret it!!!
Kisses to the chef. My group borrowed a car and the bumper went bye bye on a mountain we don’t know how to operate because we are from Florida. He helped us out immediately and and recommended food while we waited. The food made me sick but he did not. The car looks completely fine and he didn’t over price at all. It was my own fault that I hit a pole and put a large dent in my front quarter panel.
The estimates from other shops were quite high as they wanted to replace the whole quarter panel. I saw Anacapa auto body had good reviews so I stopped by and met the owner John. He said that instead of replacing the quarter panel,he would repair it. They did a awesome job at a fair price and I would recommend them for any paint or body work.
