Fantastic food, friendly service, best spicy bloody mary I've had in Fred. The historical building is really cool. Over 200 years old with some really great nostalgic photos through the years. My country fried steak was legit. Wifey got a BLT and said it was awesome. My son got the Double Meat Steak & Cheese and it was devoured quickly.
Eating at Amy's for the first time was a solidly good experience. We were stuck in traffic and we stopped in for lunch to rest for a little bit. The staff was the best part. It felt like it wouldn't take long to know everyones name and be welcomed as family.
The food was satisfying-good sized lunch portions. Highly recommend the French Silk Pie. The Reuben Egg Rolls were a fun novelty-heavy and fried. Overall-I'd love a little more flavor and a comfortable booth, but don't skip it. Amy's is a local treasure.
I wanted it to be so much more, but it was just average. It’s classic dinner food. The pancakes were good but everything else was average.
We went out for dinner on a Saturday night. I ordered a sandwich and onion rings and my husband ordered a country fried steak and coleslaw. They accidentally overcooked his steak so they redid it. I wish they had offered him a free dessert for his wait. But the food was tasty and we enjoyed listening to live music.
Eating here for the first time at my friend's choosing.. The food was OK... Classic diner food. The location and atmosphere probably supercede the food...Service was good though once you got seated.
Food is par at best. Honey Chicken appetizer was decent. The sauce had good flavor, but the chicken was very dry. The club sandwich was okay, but they put very little mayo on it, and the tomatoes didn’t seem fresh.
Very friendly staff though!
Great bang for your buck! We had the country fried steak and eggs Benedict. They were both super delicious! I definitely recommend checking this place out!
Stop on our way from Orlando to Central PA. Everyone was so nice. The food was tasty. Service was excellent. And they’re dog friendly too!
