Probably the worst place you can get food at. I have never not liked bbq ribs but this one was extremely disappointing. It was 90% bones and only 10% of meat. The bread was hard, and somehow they managed to make baked potato stuffed with cheese and bacon, bland. The buffet also did not have anything appetizing and was just something that they through together in a minute. If you would like semi cheap bland food you found your place!
The salad bar is back!! My husband and I have been going to this place since 1976. Good food, very reasonable prices, especially since the extensive and delicious salad bar is included. Grill Master Chris is awesome and always cooks our food to perfection. The staff is friendly and helpful
Great place,conveniently located right off route 8,is clean and food is fresh and quick serving.Place been here for ever and changes are very minor but still looking good.Plenty of free parking,handicap accesible.

My husband and I dined at American Steakhouse for the first time last week. It was a rainy day and we had come out of the DMV starving and the smell got us inside. We were r pleasantly surprised at how budget friendly the menu was, the freshness of the sides and entrees and the multiple additional hot sides we were offered. The star of the show was Lisa. She was so kind and professional and greeted us with a genuine smile. Since it was our first time we asked for recommendations and she happily told us about some of her favorites. We tried everything she suggested and it was all good. She was multitasking and took care of every table like it was the only one she had. She made our experience that much better. We will definitely be back.
I always try to eat here every other two months, but I always ask for sirloin tips and I love it. This time, I asked for a porter house steak. When it came to my table the meat was really pale and had the color of white chiken meat and it was hard the knife was not able to cut it. I sent it back and received another piece of meat in the same condition that I did not eat
The food and the service here is always top notch. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they occasionally overcook the steak. We ordered the Ribeye and Porterhouse medium rare and they seemed to be more on the medium to medium well side. They are good about correcting this issue when asked, but it’s not fun having to wait longer for your meal.
