AmeriCab Taxi and Courier LLC

Was given the number from one of the prospects at Lawton ft Sill airport. When I called, was told they did not pick up from the airport, only from the base. I got a Lyft from airport and she was OUTSTANDING!

I was stuck at the Lawton airport with no way out. Uber & Lyft drivers weren't accepting rides & this cab company wouldn't answer their phone. I read reviews before calling, so I was prepared, just a bit surprised. Maybe they don't have many drivers or their drivers are unreliable, so it's just easier not to answer than to pick up & get yelled at by angry customers. Who knows. It is really frustrating to have so many locals recommended a single cab company, then not be able to reach that one company.

DO NOT use this company. It would be better to just walk to your destination because at least you’d get there. I’d give them no stars if I could. I called the night before to schedule a 4:45am pickup for a 6:30am flight out of LAW, with the flight time communicated to the dispatcher. The dispatcher told me the driver had a pickup and drop off before mine so I could be picked up at 5:15am but that the drop off was close to my pick up so getting to the airport on time would be no problem. 4:19am I get a call from the driver confirming my pickup for 5:15am. Great. 5:20am I called the driver and he had still not picked up the person before me but he saw the person coming out of the hotel and would be there to pick me up in 10 minutes. I specifically asked if he could get me to the airport on time because if he couldn’t I needed to schedule another pick up and I was worried about getting there on time. He said, “oh I understand ma’am, but I will be there.” He then told me there were no other cab companies running (likely not true) and assured me he would be there to pick me up, but had he known I had a 6:30am flight he would have picked me up at 4:45am...5:37am I called him again as I had not yet been picked up. He told me he had picked up the flight crew for my flight instead of me and had just dropped them off at the airport but was on his way to pick me up. It takes 20 minutes to get the airport...I said “so I’m not going to make my flight” and he replied “no ma’am.” Bottom line is the driver blatantly lied, I didn’t make my flight, and I’m out $200 for a flight change fee.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Called for a cab around 3:30. Waited an hr nothing. So I called back they lady was rude and said two others are waiting also and that he would be here when he got in the cab. Waited another hr. Still nothing. Tried to call back 3 more times forwarded to a number that wasn’t accepting calls. Finally got through again and told them to cancel the cab because I had already missed my appointment. I will never use this company again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I’d rather walk then attempt to get a ride from them again.

Called for a cab yesterday and we waited for an hour and it didn't even show up. They gave us no time estimate and we're very disrespectful on the phone. The female that answered acted like we were annoying her for giving them business! And we tried to get a cab today and the first call went to voicemail and the second time she had shut her phone off and didn't even answer!

Horrible service. Waited for 45 minutes for a cab. Ended up having to make my own way. Called for updates and the person on the phone was grumpy and irritated that I was looking for an update. The person also on the phone made up a list of excuses of why the cab was late. She then went to give false promises of the cab is on its way and the cab should be there in 5 or 6 minutes that was a while ago.

I called for a taxi they told me it would take 30 minutes. I called at 3:55am I was expecting to make my flight. They called me back at 4:45 stating that the driver was on her way and she would be here at 5:02 and I accepted the fact that I was going to miss my flight it’s now 5:36 I’ve been waiting for a cab that never was en route she told the driver to not worry about picking me up. The lady took it into her own consideration on what to do, and didn’t even contact me about her decision that she made for me

Waited over an hour for absolutely nothing. Was told by dispatch it would be 15 mins to 45 minutes. After an hour of waiting outside for a cab, I called back for the unprofessional dispatcher to tell me they hadn't even sent anyone out yet. Missed my appointment but I should have known better anyway. Do yourself a favor and use an uber. Even walking would beat this joke of a service.
