Best KPortal Reviews
The short: they charge a $.50 service fee for you to use an automated machine now… and ask for a tip? At airport prices? Insanity.
Update: I tried to email for my comments. Email does not work. This is now a 1 star.
The Airport is not known for its gourmet foods, kind staff, or overall experience. That was taken into account for this review.
If I have to use an automatic machine and then i cannot get the machine to work correctly, then I ask a worker to pay AFTER getting my food, and get charged a fee without my consent… this is not service. This is me demanding service because the machine did not work as expected and I asked to pay.
I am a regular flyer this is an easy fast place to go — though highly mediocre food. It’s not really a Chicago dog but it is better than a lot of other food options, barely proper place to sit, always chaotic, and the drinks are always incredibly confusing. Genuinely feel bad for the people that work there, they were set up by their management to fail by being understaffed.
The Maxwell Polish Sausage is good, it’s small for $10, but it’s the airport. The drinks are $4. You order at a kiosk, and they are hustling.
At Midway Airport and ordered food that took close to 40 minutes WITHOUT a line. Food was HORRIBLE and this is how the pickle came in my bag. The saran wrap seems to have been USED...WOW..WOW..WOW...
Service was horrible and who would eat the pickle after noticing the saran wrap was used? NOT ME!!!
Spent $36 on MESS and the chili cheese fries taste burnt!!!!
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!
Overly Price with poor service!!!
A great American experience. My Chicago hot
Dog was delicious with white cheddar dip. Fast and good service. A few options for seating.
No breakfast before I left Phoenix so I was starving. Hot dogs were delicious, Chicago classic and what they call Maxwell Street with grilled onions and sport peppers. Hot dog bun was perfect, soft and chewy but held up to the ingredients
The line moves quick, friendly service, clean inside though we had to clean our own table. Food was super mediocre...not good, not bad. My hotdog was the Chicago dog, way more bun and pickle/relish than hotdog and the peppers were old. If you enjoy a good hotdog, I wouldn't recommend this spot...but for airport food, not terrible.
I bought the Louisville Dog. Customer service was great--from the cashier to the cook--but the food itself was really subpar. As a hot dog lover, I was not enthused.
The Louisville is an all beef hot dog with cheese, maple bourbon bacon, and crunchy fried onions on a pretzel bun. The concept was wonderful but the taste was lacking. The bun was hard and didn't fold well so I ended up eating it deconstructed. The bacon was my favorite part but it's too sweet to eat it without everything else.
I wish there were a Nathan's..
Great place to get an authentic Chicago dog! The Chicago dog was fantastic and fully loaded. The chili-cheese fries lacked flavor and the fries seemed old and stale. Drinks from the cooler were just above room temperature.
