I asked Janetzy for an ombré and provided the photo below but got a balayage. I was at the salon by 8am and did not leave until 3:30pm. I do understand I have longer thicker hair than most but I was left with bleach foils in my hair for multiple hours. While I was left in the foils my stylist did a men’s haircut and a woman’s haircut,blowout and style. I then was placed in the sink bowl for an hour. Once I was sitting back in the chair she combed my hair out and clumps of blonde were coming off the brush. I understood with darker hair that there will be damage but there shouldn’t be as much damage as there was. My hair now feels like hay and wiry and there are multiple bleach bleed spot and my hair is not evenly toned. I did call and speak with the manager but all I was offered was a deep conditioning treatment… the manager also let me know the girl styling my hair was “new” but going back in the reviews she has been there for a couple years. Overall my experience was not okay and it was handled completely unprofessionally. I just want other brunettes to see so they don’t make the same mistake I did. My hair is no where near how it was and I have never had my hair feel this awful. It is going to take a lot of time and deep conditioning treatments to get my hair back also not to mention all the breakage and allowing that to grow back.
I love Ambitious Beauty Salon, Tacia worked her magic on my hair and I left satisfied with a cut I love, the deep condition was Amazing! I highly recommend & time..I was in and out of there in no time!????

Monica did exactly what I wanted in a way that suited my face. I loved coming here to get my cut. I’m one of those who’s really picky about people touching my hair, and care a lot about the details. Have had terrible experiences with bad cuts before and was nervous. Monica made it comfortable to preplan and discuss what I wanted. I showed her pictures and different versions of the cut I wanted and she customized it to suit my facial shape and personal lifestyle. She made sure to warn me about the maintenance involved with my choice in a way that made me feel considered, even though she made it easy for me to maintain lol. She was very thoughtful and prepared in advance for our appointment. She takes her time with each individual client to ensure she delivers the best results so her clients can leave happy. So even if you have to wait, you know its more about the quality rather than quantity. Hair does grow back, but that doesn't mean anyone enjoys growing out a disappointing haircut. You get more than you pay for with this professional. Monica is a safe bet who will give you peace of mind knowing you’ll get exactly what you ask for. Will be returning for color next.
I use Monica to cut my hair, she does an amazing job and takes her time to make sure that the hair is perfect. She also does an amazing job on my son's hair and daughters. I really recommend her
I have short hair and a couple cowlics. Since I am a summer resident (5 months) I have had a miserable experience with numerous stylists butchering my haircut by not listening to what I want and where the corrections need to be made. I've had experience with haircutting in my past, so yes, I do know my own hair. I decided to try someone new and upon reviews made an appointment wirh Tacia. I am so glad I did. I showed her a couple photos of a prior cut and explained my hair issues. She was attentive and went about cutting. When she was done, my cut was near perfect to what I liked. Thank you Tacia!
Monica Carrasco absolutely killed it!!! She did soooo amazing! She was gentle, kind and made me feel so welcomed and knew exactly what I wanted and did it! I will always go to Monica to get my hair done!
