Chicken kung po, not likely more like pork accused off lying when we phoned them. Got dish that I was meant to get eventually but only sent half portion of rice which was hard. Poor service won't be back
Food was beautiful and staff were great x, ????
Took 1 hrs and 45 minutes to get to us. Chips looked and tasted like they had been re heated 3 times. Crispy shredded chicken in honey chilli sauce was hard and tasted burnt. Was completely inedible. First time iv ever been here. Will not be going back. Do not recommend
I do love this wee take away. Good portions size and never dry as you find with some take aways
A simple request, "Can you put together a nice meal for six, including one vegetarian, for £100?"
"No, we can't do that, you have to choose individual dishes from the menu." was the answer from two Chinese restaurants in Peebles and one in Innerleithen.
But, a charming young lady at this restaurant (Amy, I think) said, "Well, it's not something we normally do, but I don't see why not." Let me tell you, the banquet which she assembled and which my party picked up when they exited the cinema two hours later, (conveniently, just along the road), was not only delicious and superbly varied, it would easily have fed a party of ten!!
Well done Amber, you will certainly have our business again!
(One tiny criticism from me, but not my five fellow diners, is that I found a few of the dishes had a little too much salt. However, I find that with most foods. So, if like me, you prefer less salt, you might want to request that up front.)

They've an excellent variety of dishes available and usually the food is top notch.
Anytime we've had an issue we've just called up and a replacement has been sent out which just cements this place as the best Chinese Takeaway in Galashiels.
Whenever I offer Chinese I order here. Great food, friendly service, most of the staff are always smiling!
Delivery drivers are polite and friendly which is a rarity in itself sometimes.
Should note that this food place does not have a sit in area. It is only takeaway. They do offer delivery, collection, or you can simply turn up and order then wait. It's generally very quick.
Ordered food at 6.30pm, told there would be an hour wait. No problem, clearly a busy Saturday night. Called at 7.40 to ask for an update, lady on the phone responded “we’re busy what do you want us to do about it” and then proceeded to tell us it would be about another half an hour wait as they were waiting for the driver. Just called up again (it’s now 9pm) and asked for an update as no driver has appeared - told that they were waiting for the driver returning and the food would be with us “soon.”

Received at around 9:15pm. Food was top notch. However, I do believe this whole situation could’ve been avoided had the takeaway staff rung up to say they were very busy and the food would be delayed, rather than leaving it up to us to chase them up after several unrealistic deadlines. Clearly the staff were frustrated by the number of customers chasing up their food, hence the reaction when we called.
