Visited Ambassadors first time for breakfast and we returned the next day for breakfast again. Lovely food qt the right price. Clean and cozy atmosphere. When we're back in this part of Wales we will definitely be back. Thank you Ambassadors!
We visited in January and it was very busy even then but I’m sad to say that despite an inspiring sounding menu this place just missed the mark in so many ways. To start with it was freezing the table hadn’t been cleaned and there were no clear instructions telling you if it was table service- it wasn’t! After ordering we had to wait 50 minutes for our food only to find the veggie wrap (feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes lettuce pesto) had been substituted for a veggie finger which was hot with loads of pesto and very wilted lettuce it was horrible and I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t been asked what I would like. I returned it to the counter and had to stand around waiting while no one apologised and the chef said you want cheese? The whole thing had just put me off . Meanwhile my family had eaten some of their food but neither were very impressed. A waitress seemed to take pity on us and offered us a refund for the meal and a free dessert the crepes were nice but nothing special. Fair play to the waitress but we won’t be returning.
Bit of a hidden gem with an upstairs restaurant Inc a lift if needed. It has an outside terrace to enjoy the sea air sadly no views but a definite place to visit
Interesting menu food good staff friendly
Very friendly cafe/shop with food to go and Dog Friendly. Great atmosphere eat in or takeaway. We sat in with our dog after doing part of the coastal walk. It was hard to find a dog friendly place in the village so glad we found this place somewhere to get warm this time of year and right by the bus stop. Great food & chatted to friendly staff. Thank you ????
Lovely cafe in the picturesque perfect town of Aberaeron!! Most of all, right next to our favourite ice cream shop!!!
Absolutely beautiful. Clean, friendly atmosphere and staff, delicious hot food.
The food was really nice and the drink however the staff need some manners and have more patience with people when they are choosing what they would like to have. Me and my family were in there and there was nobody waiting behind us and we were deciding what we wanted. The women kept on rolling her eyes at us and trying to hurry us. It was quite disappointing as the food was delicious
On a chilly morning this was the perfect place for a warm up and a tasty hot snack. The chairs are comfortable and the service very efficient. My companion had delicious home made pasta and I had a generous portion of beans on toast. There is lots of choice, even for vegetarians. The hot chocolate was lovely. They do all kinds of shakes etc. I would certainly visit again.
