Best KPortal Reviews

Absolutely the best horchata I’ve ever had. Also the torta was super great
Some of the best Papusas I've had. Cameron and Pollo was great too
Horrible experience! My daughter and I were waiting there for and hour and a half, and when I asked how much longer I would have to wait for it, they told me they hadn’t even started my order! Then, they had the audacity to ask me if I would like to cancel or continue my order! It was not at all crowded, only a few other people there, so I see no reason as to why the order of 4 pupusas would take so long. Overall a bad time.
I visited this place with my mother. We are Salvadoran so of course we love the food. This is not a fancy place in a fancy location. That is not the problem. Sometimes these hidden places are the best. This is not one. The servers were nice but getting the drinks was slow, getting our food took way too long and my order was not good. I ordered a mixed seafood cocktail (coctel mixto). This should have shrimp, crab & octopus. The shrimp was super soggy, the crab was imitation (not uncommon) & there was no octopus whatsoever. For me, that is the best part of the mixed ones. It was not during the lunch rush so there were only 2 other tables with customers and it still took them that long. The pupusas were good but that was all that was good. Will I visit again? Very doubtful.
This is a family run restaurant authentic salvadorian food. Its small on the corner of 43rd and Avalon. Very cozy place. Anything you order here is so good. There pupusas are one of my favorites. And there fresh fruit waters are made fresh daily. I highly recommend this place.
Good food and nice service. Only reason it got 3/5 stars is because every time I order (by phone or in person) they say 20 min and they always take about 40-50 min. Many people come here so it's understandable, would be better if they said 40-50 min when people order though.
Food is ok , but the wait isn't. I placed an order over the phone , I was told it would take 25min when I asked for the total the lady said you will know when you get here . When I got there to pick up my food I was asked to wait , in total i waited 45 minutes. It's hard when your on lunch run and have only 30min yo spare . Prices are ok quality of product was ok , but not to exited on returning any time soon
Sign says 2.50 they charged me $15 for 3 pupusas and said the price went up..
