I was told by the gentleman that they would be open Thanksgiving day from 8-12, and we agreed on me being there at 8. I've been in the parking lot for half an hour, and they're not open. Over all, they have horrible customer service, poor attitudes, not good for their word, and half the time tires aren't balanced correctly. I will not be giving Alvarez tire anymore of my business.
I have always heard good things about this place, so I had confidence to come here when I needed something fixed on my truck. This last Saturday, I first talked to a guy named Andy about a noise I was hearing on my truck when I hit my brakes. He was very professional and He inspected my rotors and noticed a deep line going in the center of my back one, so we made a plan to get my rear rotors turned and resurfaced. He called ahead and O'Reillys said they were available to bring in the rotors on Monday morning first thing. I made arrangements for my wife to drop off my truck and pick it up once they were going to be done, Estimated time around 12pm. By 12PM my wife never heard from anyone at all and dropped by the shop to see how things were going. My truck was still in the same spot and was never moved. She went to ask employee what was going on with it, and a different guy approached her and said he was busy and didn't have a chance to call and let us know that the place who did the rotors was really behind on work and that it would be faster if we just bought new rotors and had them installed. I guess this employee didn't realize we already scheduled ahead in the first place? We called O'Reillys to price rotors just to see how much the parts would be and brought up the the O'Reilly employee how busy they must be since they were so behind. The employee had no clue what I was talking about and said nobody even tried to bring any rotors to him all morning! So the shop employee lied to my wife, either because he forgot all about my truck to begin with, or wanted more money out of us not thinking that we wouldn't call O'Reillys ourselves. This shop is obviously very busy, and most people are happy with them. In this case it seems like just one bad employee spoiled it for me. I will not be back again.

They were unable to find the leak in my tire the first time I was there. The second visit they offered to sell me a new one instead. When they finally got around to looking at my tire, Jose was very rude. He put a plug in my front tire without asking what I wanted. Their services are no longer required or wanted.
They took care of my tire without me having to wait. I will be back for service on any of my vehicles.
These guys Rock, they were the only tire shop in all of Livingston who were able to find my tire brand, no other company could. I mean these guys will try their very best to do the best job they can.
This is definitely a 5 star shop. The difference is their caring attitude, and concern for the customer.
