The food was fresh and not overly salty. I feel they could have used more seasoning in the chicken and rice. It was a bit expensive though for what the food was but still good.
I was a guest where this food was catered in to someone’s home. The kebab are delicious, lean and flavorful…I could actually taste the fresh mint in the mince…the bread is not pita but thinner and really good…a different experience from my other middle eastern or Arabic menus. The grilled chicken was not perfect…a tad overcooked but that could be contributed to my late arrival to the event…so give this place an honest chance!!! I appreciate they are a unique contribution to the global cuisine experience in Homer Glen…thank you for introducing something new and amazing! I invite everyone to compliment and celebrate the Alsultan contribution to the community and hope my feedback contributes to their continued success.
Tried supporting a local business for lunch. Ordered a simple alsultan chicken Pita sandwich.
Almost 0 flavor. Lots of lettuce, and could only taste the slice of american cheese square that’s supposed to be found on hamburgers.
Definitely not what I had in mind, next time I’ll just go to McDonald’s across the street if that’s what I wanted that. And they charged me a service fee as well.
The food is AMAZING ! The chicken literally melts in your mouth. The hummus, babaghanoush, mouthwama, tahini salad all so mouth watering. Presentation was really nice too, I would order for a family gathering for sure. The staff is so polite. Worth every penny and for the amount food we got just wow. Definitely will be back for many more times to come. ????????
Absolutely Fantastic Food … the owners are very nice and gave us samples of the rice pudding (SO good) and a sample of the Lentil soup ( beyond yummy). I had the grilled chicken bowl and tried the red rice and the yellow rice - this was so delicious. My wife had the gyros. Both these dishes are SO good. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Absolutely delicious!!!! Thank you AlSultan! :-)
Food was bland. Rice clumpy. The garlic sauce tasted like sour cream.
The lady working register was not friendly.
The place is overwhelmingly smoky. I left reeking of smoke and my jacket needed to be washed and i didn’t even dine in.
Pita Inn or Jerusalem Cafe are better choices in this genre.
Really tasty food. A favorite spot. We have ordered from them Dine in, carry out and catering. The taste and freshness is pretty consistent. The guys are usually really nice and friendly.
Ordered gyro bowl. Sauce taste just like tartar sauce. Rice is a cross between Arabic and Mexican rice. Never had gyro with lettuce. Kibbeh not fresh at all. Flavorless. Do not recommend. Just My suggestion. Way too costly compared to other restaurants
