Best KPortal Reviews
Great little place. Probably the best food McCall has to offer. Having tried several other restaurants in the area Alpine is ahead of the others. They need to work on their flavor profile and bring it up to a 10, it’s at 6.5 currently. Tried the chicken pesto sandwich and I wouldn’t order it again. Bagel was hard and tasteless, too dense. Very little chicken and the pesto was more like paste. Also ordered the gyro which had some promise but the stinginess of the meat offered in it was unlawful! Might as well pretend it had meat. Tomato Bisque was perfect and Caesar salad was ok.
At Alpine Pantry and Provisions LLC in McCall, Idaho, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The casual environment and extensive menu for breakfast and lunch exceeded our expectations. Ordering at the counter and having our food delivered to the table added convenience, while the stunning views of Payette Lake added to the overall ambiance. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome. The large plate of Farmers Eggs Benedict we shared was incredibly satisfying, and the cappuccinos were delicious. The prices were reasonable, particularly when splitting a plate. Additionally, their assortment of baked goods, including cinnamon rolls, was a delightful treat. We highly recommend Alpine Pantry and Provisions for a memorable dining experience.
Stopped here for breakfast and had an amazing experience from start to finish! We were greeted with a smile and had excellent service. We got an order of biscuits and gravy and two different crepes, the banana crepe and the savory crepe. All of our food was delicious! We loved the cozy atmosphere and enjoyed sitting inside by the window with a view of the lake. Can't wait to come back next time we're in McCall!
Banana bread French toast was fantastic, so was the BLT. The peanut butter scone was dry and the frosting was hard.
What a gem! I stopped by Alpine Pantry a couple weeks ago for breakfast. I sat outside on one of their adorable colored picnic tables and had a gorgeous view of the lake. The service was really friendly and quick.
One glance at the menu and I knew I had to try the Banana Carmel Dream French toast (scratch made banana bread dunked in French toast batter, crisped to order topped with sliced bananas, sweet cream and salted caramel sauce, $13.00). I also ordered an Alpine Berries and Sweet Cream Crepe ($5.00) with a side of eggs ($1.50) and a Crispy Potato Cake ($4.00). I loved it all! The French toast truly lived up to its name. The bread itself was some of the best banana bread I'd ever had! And the sweet cream was heavenly! You shouldn't skip out on this one especially if you've got a sweet tooth. The Crepe was equally as scrumptious and the eggs were fantastic. There were more egg whites than yolk which is exactly how I make them at home and no where else does it. The Potato Cake was out-of-this-world delicious and I wish I remembered what exactly when in it! Highly recommend this side :)
It's so nice to have another breakfast option in McCall once again especially at this end of town. I can't wait to go back!
Nice small eatery with espresso. Great breakfast cooked perfectly including the bacon I asked for not crisp. The price isn't bad and it is one of the better places for breakfast here in Mccall.
Lunch was delicious! Veggie Chili was really well done and possibly the best caesar salad I’ve had in a decade. Front counter gal did not know her menu very well at all and didn’t seem to care, but we figured it out. I especially appreciate the location- outside of downtown makes for easier parking. I’ll be back for more!
Cute breakfast/ lunch spot. We came for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast and a chili Verde panini with a hibiscus tea and latte. Everything was amazing and wouldn't change anything. They have every coffee you would want and a good list of teas. If you're in the mood for something other than coffee, we noticed other guests were ordering mimosas, which would make this a great brunch spot as well.
