Get the almond croissant. You won’t regret it. Has almond paste inside. Parking can be terrible. The shop feels tiny when so many people are inside. There are a couple of tables inside. More outside. Think most people must take out though. Lots of interesting items to buy.
Prepared foods, bakery, and cashiers were really nice. The soup section was slow and rude overall. It's one thing to be slow and indifferent. To top it off, they only filled the soup 80% and gave me the wrong bread; I know the order print out had the correct bread. Look at my history, I don't write many low reviews. I know, first world problems.
The food continues to be among the best delis in town. Fresh breads, cakes, pastries, and cheese selection are amazing. Our wedding cakes and every anniversary and birthday cakes came from Alon's. We tried others but always came back to Alon's. During my most recent visits, I have been disappointed by the service, though. I'll come by for the food by I am not impressed by the warmth of the people behind the counter particularly where you place soup orders.
I introduced my girlfriend to Alon’s Bakery & Market this past weekend. She and I enjoyed our brunch experience including the sweet and savory aroma that greeted us as we walked into the establishment.
I proudly and strongly recommend to stop by salon for breakfast, lunch and/dinner. They craft delicious sandwiches and pastries.
I despise picking up from this location. Whoever manages this location does not require professional service or etiquette from its staff. Literally saw a dude dancing as his techno song played on the speaker which isn’t necessarily an issue unless it’s lunch rush and there are clearly people waiting. I saw one person who had been waiting since before I arrived and the order was just sitting on the shelf. She waited at least another few minutes before they gave her the order. That’s beyond unacceptable. She was visibly frustrated at the situation and rightly so. Thus is the only location where I have witnessed the staff be comfortably rude and unprofessional towards customers and demonstrate a lack of respect for peoples time and money.
And when I received my order and walked away, the “guy” had the audacity to yell “you’re welcome”at me as if he was entitled to some sort of gratitude for his horrible behavior. I just walked out as it’s not worth my time or energy to deal with someone like that.
If it wasn’t for my job I would never choose alons bakery. I really wouldn’t even choose Atlanta because so many people are miserable , careless and just socially morally corrupted.
Fabulous selection of pastries, cheese, breads and prepared food. Great place for breakfast or lunch. We had the Bruschetta and 2 sides. Everything was delicious ????
I went today to this place and everything was so fresh and delicious but the croissant ???? could be more filled with chocolate, is delicious but deserves more filling.
The only bad thing about this place is the parking ????️
Came here today for the first time with some friends! We had a great time. The vibe inside is super cute, and there’s also a nice outdoor seating area. They have a ton of stuff here! There are baked goods, premade options, sandwiches, soups, and little snacks! I had the spicy Tunisian tuna and a very fun cronut-esque strawberry lemon pastry. My friends had the smoked pepper turkey and the chicken tomatillo soup. Everything was super tasty! I’d definitely come back!
