Best KPortal Reviews

I recently ordered from Aloha Stacks via Uber Eats while attending a sports tournament in the area, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
Despite the convenience of Uber Eats, the higher pricing didn't justify the quality of the food I received. My hibachi steak lunch with fried rice and mac salad was marred by a peculiar addition--relish in the mac salad, which was quite different from the other traditional Hawaiian recipes I'm accustomed to.
While the spam musubis were passable, the incomplete wrapping of seaweed around them raised questions about attention to detail in the kitchen. Moreover, the lack of travel-friendly packaging resulted in a messy mix-up, with my steak ending up mixed into the mac salad and rice.
To add to the frustration, the latte arrived warm and spilled during transit, further detracting from the overall experience. Similarly, the spam & eggs order suffered from the same issue of everything being jumbled together.
Despite making a call to the restaurant to request cutlery, napkins, and condiments, the promised provisions fell short. The minimal napkins provided were inadequate for the size of my order, and the condiments included were limited, leaving me wishing for essentials like syrup or jam for my pancakes.
Overall, the hefty price tag of over $100 for this order felt like a rip-off, given the lackluster quality and subpar service. Aloha Stacks in Mission Viejo failed to deliver on expectations, leaving me unsatisfied and unlikely to return.
We came by on a Saturday morning after a hiking Dreaded Hill Loop Trail. We were definitely hungry for brunch. ????????
There was a line out the door, which is a good sign that the food’s going to be good.
It has a nice, relaxing vibe. Great place for brunch with friends. We had a big group so we had to sit at different tables. They have outside seating as well, which is where we sat. You order at the counter and then they’ll bring out your food.
Good service. The servers came by our table often to check on us.
???? Ube Coconut Pancakes - fluffy, sweet and tasted so good! Love the purple color!
???? Strawberry Banana French Toast ????
???? Kalua Pork Eggs Benedict - very delicious
???? Loco Moco with Portuguese sausage - eggs were runny. Could have used more gravy.
???? Link Sausage & Eggs ????
????Power Plant Omelette ????
Overall, great experience! We’ll definitely be back! ????
Been here a few times and it was a nice experience overall. But the last two visits were big disappointments. Food was not the same. My eggs Benedict were overcooked. I send them back and the server did not even try to apologize. Service was pretty mediocre. Coffee has no rich flavor. Potatos were pretty tasty before. I don’t know if they change cook staff or management. It used to be packed. Feel like is going down too bad location is great.
The food did not disappoint! My wife ordered the Fruity Pebbles French Toast, and I ordered the chicken katsu. Both tasted great, and we’re ready quickly.
Seating was sparse, so if you come at a busy time you might be waiting a bit, but I’d say it’s worth it.
Solid diner style spot. Order your food at the counter and they bring it to your table.
It’s popular so expect a little wait in line to order.
Enjoyed the peanut butter banana French toast and ube latte. Coffee is good quality, not cheap diner style coffee.
Since Curry House closed, this is the BEST place for Chicken Katsu. I did order something different last time, the Kalua Pork Omelette. Now I’m torn between which dish to order. ????????‍♂️
However, regardless of entree, I always order the SPAM Musubi. I realize many people are anti-SPAM, but you have NO CLUE what you’re missing with the SPAM Musubi. It’s a must have!
Great place for post church brunch
My mom and I tried this spot for brunch after church this past Sunday. You order at the counter and then can sit wherever you want. I think I prefer this style restaurant setup, because it's so much more efficient, and you're not stuck waiting forever for your server to come back to give you your check. There was a decently long line out the door, but it moved pretty quickly, I would say it took about 10 minutes. It was also super easy to find seating; they have indoor and outdoor seating.
I ordered the Kahlua pork Benedict which was recommended by the staff, and my mom ordered the strawberry waffle. I'm a big Benedict fan, so I was excited to try their signature Hawaiian shredded pork twist. It was very tasteful, juicy, and well-balanced with the hollandaise sause. My eggs were poached to perfection! My dish also came with a side of potatoes, I was so full I couldn't even get through all of it! Highly recommend this spot for brunch. I will definitely be back.
Nice little brunch spot and I will come again to get some of their pancakes. For my visit, it was more savory than sweet. I wanted to try the loco Moco but with the Portuguese sausage. It was decent but personally I like my rice drenched with gravy. The oatmeal was fine and tasted as good as it look. But the breakfast burrito was definitely the best of the three. It was nicely packed with eggs and sausage. Tasted great and the chili Verde with it was a good kick added when biting into the burrito.
