This place superseded my expectations in bbq! I was impressed with everything from the homemade sauce to the potato salad. I had the 3 meat plate with chicken, ribs and sausage. My sides were baked beans and potato salad. Everything was really seasoned good and I was very happy with my conversation with the owners they are sweet and nice downhome folks. Definitely going back. Loyal customer from now on!!????
This is a little place that honestly does not look like much. But just open the door!! The service and food is amazing! Not only that but they give all the glory to God. If you're in the mood for Barbecue, give them a chance!!! You'll be back for more!! You may want to stick around and visit awhile. :) Thank you guys for being who you are!
Nope nope nope. This place should not serve barbecue. The potato salad has way too much mayo, the green beans have no flavor, the ribs so tough you couldn’t even bite them . The sausage was not grilled it’s boiled and laced with barbecue sauce. We asked for chop chicken and got over sauced chopped beef. I’m sorry I wanted to give this place good reviews but nope. Also when we walked in they were basically rushing us to order. We are from out of state and wanted to try some BBQ from Shreveport but never again will we go here. Too expensive not to be able to enjoy our food. We had to throw it away ????????…
Ribs were very good, but the brisket was one of the worst I ever had since it was dry with several pieces being overly fatty (2 to 3 times more fat than meat). Initially, I didn't feel welcome, but the owner came to the severing window where he was warm and welcoming. The price was very reasonable.
If you are not paying attention, you will pass right by this lovely gem! My friend and I much enjoyed a chopped beef barbecue sandwich, with delicious potato salad and baked beans full of meat. Our two lunch special meals, which included a can drink for each of us came to just a little over $18. I defy anyone to find such a delicious meal, with such a wonderful family restaurant to have such fresh food in good quantity at that price in this, the last quarter of 2023.
We also split a piece of peanut butter cake which took me back to my childhood days in Caddo parish schools. It was simply divine! I was glad to share it but I certainly kind of hated to a little bit LOL :-)
Please go out of your way to find this wonderful establishment. They have a wonderful little cool dining room with several tables for four tops. And it's air conditioning is cool, js! It is Just north of Midway on Linwood avenue in Shreveport. In a little strip mall, just look for the open sign :-) and bless this small business as they bless us!
I ordered the ribs and chicken yesterday evening and haven’t stopped thinking about how delicious it was ever since. The ribs were cooked and seasoned perfectly served with the sauce on the side (the only way if you ask me) and the chicken was outstanding. I’ll definitely be ordering again.
I was passing through Shreveport on my way to TX and wanted some BBQ. Thank God I found Almighty BBQ. BBQ is off the chain. The ribs and chicken were so good. Also they give you a lot of food for the price. What’s better than the food is the owner’s and their son. They make you feel right at home. Before I even got the food I knew it was going to be awesome because of their Southern Hospitality. I will definitely come back next time I head that way!
Awesome food and customer service. Great price for a lot of great food. No BBQ sauce on the perfectly lightly smoked flavor meat and add the delicious secret sauce. Would definitely come here again if ever in the area. Well worth the off the beaten path for this whole in the wall.
