My very first experience here, and I’m giving 5 stars! I’m now a resident of New Haven, originally from Nc. Been living here 4 years and couldn’t find anyone decent to do my locs, until now. They make you feel welcome, with a very clean shop. The customers are in and out, with no wait! Just what I was looking for, with no hesitations of returning. Thank you for your wonderful service!!
Jacqueline is very professional. She listens to what you want. She styled and repaired my daughter's hair , and some of her locks were breaking off. She was able to repair them.
I love it, she does my hair and my daughter's. She is not too expensive very professional at all times. This is my 5th time getting my hair done, I have found a permanent spot. Thanks Jackie.

Got my locs started her back in 2019 and it looked nice, during the pandemic I did it myself, but it was over 100 locs. Ensure when you book that you have nothing plan the rest of the day that is on a time schedule. Bring just enough product for your hair, keep extra in your car.
Ensure you pray before entering any place. Be very careful who you eat and drink from etc. Your head is your crown. I was hospitalized in 2021 with Covid and it became a spiritual attack especially with my hair. When I came out I said I was going to dye my locs hoping it would solve what I could not understand at the time. Dud not want my new growth to be dyed but they said it would be fine. The new growth started splitting. They charged me for the dye but never twisted it and when I returned I was charged a different price to retwist it, when I only brought what I usually pay.
Went a few times after, but once this new person did it an she said, " you might have 3 less locs." That was the last day for me. Also when she stated, " My father provide everything I ask for right away," that did not make sense, because God does not give us everything we ask right away, sometimes he prepares us for it. Did my own locs after that. Had another spiritual warfare with my hair again, so I combed it out and started from scratch and nothing to where I want to take it out. Had to do less locs because my hair became a little thinner, even if it is thick.
Just speak up on what you need in a polite way, because in life the ones with empathy, giving, weak, etc, get taken advantage off. I am a nice person, but had periods were I stopped speaking up or out.
Use your own discernment or discretion, you are the one in control of your life. Be Bless!!!
