credit card machine did not work and driver would not return my card. the card was swiped multiple times and after checking my bank statement the next day I noticed that I was charged three times for my ride. eventually the driver returned the card, but only after waiting over ten minutes with holding my card hostage. my first and last experience with allstar.
Cab arrived at the Kansas City International Airport at night. The driver was very unfriendly and wanted us to get our luggage in the cab fast. He had no clue where we needed to go and used his cell phone as a GPS. His GPS would not work, he was frustrated, drove around a while racking up the fare until we just told him to take us somewhere else so we could get out. When we arrived at our destination he became enraged when we wanted to use a credit card. He threw our luggage out into a puddle. Luckily we had enough cash to pay the fare because it did not seem like he would take a credit card. He did not even care one of the passengers was disabled. He wanted us out of the cab fast and he wanted cash only. Our luggage was wet and laptop could have been broken. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! There definitely does not seem to be any quality control on drivers. WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE PLEASE!!!

I needed a cab to the airport at 4am, so I called the evening before to set it up. The cab driver asked me to call him again in the morning at 3am to remind him. I thought this was strange but it's hard to get a cab in KC so I did that. He answers at 3am and says he will be on his way on time. HE IS AN ENTIRE HOUR LATE, and tells me to "calm down" because he thinks I should still be able to make my flight on time. While we are in the car on the way to the airport he tells me that I will need to pay in cash. When I informed him that all cab drivers in Missouri are required to accept cards, HE THREATENED TO DROP ME OFF AND LEAVE ME STRANDED. He stopped at a gas station so I could get cash out to pay him, then proceeded to charge me $30 more than what I know it costs to go from my house to the airport (I fly very frequently). He also originally began DRIVING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE AIRPORT and had to turn around several miles later (when I expressed concerns, because I know how to get to the airport, he insisted his gps was taking the fastest way). I barely made my flight. This driver has absolutely no business on the road. Cab #0920 was the identifying information on the car. He was extremely unprofessional, undependable, sketchy, ignorant, belligerent, irresponsible, inattentive, immature, and expensive. I cannot wait until Uber expands in Kansas City because this was a ridiculous experience.
Driver called me over an hour ago and said he was on his way to pick me up, he's still not here yet and he's not answering his phone.
This will definitely be the last time I use this taxi service.
This Company is so bad they don't even get one star. Our driver got called for a drug test by our carrier which he had to be the clinic within two hours. Called this company and they picked our driver and they charged the driver $14.28 a mile for seven miles. The total was $100.00 fair. The driver was calling our driver a crook and was swearing at him. We will never use this company again as they just try to rip people off.

I got ripped off. The credit card machine didn't work the guy talked to fast couldn't understand him bc I wouldn't used their service. Took me the long route to my hotel so the meter would charge more. People work hard for their money to just get ripped off won't use them again.
