Visited today for the first time since this changed from Lloyds (where service was always awful) to Allied. What a turnaround! The lady who served me couldn't have been more helpful and had exactly the temperament I needed seeing as I was unwell and needed medical advice. ????????
As stated in another review, sales assistant was rude and abrasive, not sure of her name but as a customer I dont expect to be spoken too as if I'm an inconvenience, and don't expect to be snapped at and expected to shout out my date of birth and
address in front of a packed shop in prescriptions are never ready. On one occasion even being told my prescriptions had not been sent over when the surgery confirmed they have.
Note to management customer service training is urgently required along with more staff and sn IT system that is up to the job!
Staff are really nice, it can be very busy but its expected as its a pharmacy. Its normal to wait for some prescriptions, people who get frustrated should realise the staff are just doing their jobs. Be nice, people!
I'm a regular and the staff are generally pleasant and helpful. I'm patient because I know how busy they are. However, to tell me my prescription was "not there", send me away, to then have the surgery clarify it definitely WAS on the system, to be told yet again by Lloyd's staff there was "nothing on the system". I waited over 45 minutes for the medication I was owed in the middle of a working day. No update until I asked, no solution offered, and no apology whatsoever. Customer service needs improvement. Not to mention, its stressful for sick or anxious people to be messed around like that.
Very friendly staff who are obviously working hard but it seems to be absolutely chaos inside. Recently queued for 45 minutes to pick up my prescription, only to get home and find they and given me completely the wrong drug. Had to go back, queued again for an hour only to be told they didn't have the right medication in stock.
Have now switched to an online pharmacy who will deliver my medications to my door because frankly I can't waste any more of my time in this place!
How this pharmacy is still operating is beyond belief. Opted to pay for delivery as there was always a queue, very long wait and various queries when collecting my Father's meds in person. All ok until recently when delivery failed to arrive. Rang up only to be told the deliveries had stopped as "a colleague said they are no longer needed". An incredible, unbelievable and life threatening statement and mistake. My father has now gone 3 days without his meds. Counter staff are always lovely and helpful but this practice needs complete restructuring and managerial sorting - and fast.
Awful experience there every time. Really rude staff, especially one member of staff there, unsure of their name but they have been extremely rude to me multiple times and I am not happy with the service I received there over the last 6 months or so and I have decided to change pharmacy’s. Also, I would always have to queue for ages, once even waited for nearly an hour!! You should consider getting new staff who are friendly, professional, and ones who can provide a better service because the service here is unacceptable. Such a shame that one member of staff has put me off so much that I’ve had to move pharmacy’s!!
As stated by another reviewer, counter staff are lovely and it's a pity to involve them with what can only be described as utter chaos and confusion in the back when providing and finding your prescription. Another person waiting was also complaining as she had been waiting ages and the queue outside was out into the car park. I was waiting at the door for 15 mins before I was let in and was then told to come back later which I did only to be told not ready and to come back yet again. Very unprofessional for a vital public service. I would have thought steps to rectify this would have already been taken given the number of negative reviews they have got. Pull your finger out Lloyds and get some managerial experience round there.
