So that I can write a review.
I have been waiting for over 4 weeks now for my medication, which they themselves confirmed when I called that it was ready for me to collect. I even double checked that we were talking about the same medication.
Last week, I called the doctors and asked if they had sent the prescription as the pharmacy was saying now that there was nothing there in my name; The receptionist at the GP called them and then called me back to confirm it was ready to collect again.
I then, went it collect the medication but then they had changed their opening times, I work full time in a school so it’s hard to get there with their “new” closing times.
So my mum went, got sent back with the wrong prescription, medication that I had back in February.
Then another call was made to confirm that the medication I NEED was there, they confirmed this.
I went yesterday, they now make you wait outside, this was after 4pm, and you have to knock on the window. You’d think they’d have a doorbell or something.. nope.
But, walked away with no medication again, because they had nothing there in my name, AGAIN.
Called GP explained it all, and then asked to changed to a different pharmacy.. I have now :D
Absolutely disgusting service!! I have waited a whole week for my repeat prescription. I need my medication regularly (hence the term repeat). The staff blame lack of staff through sickness-new computer system- in fact anything and everything. The opening hours are 10am to 1pm then 2pm to 4pm. Maybe working on prescriptions before the shop actually opens or after it’s closed would be helpful.
9 times out of 10 they never have your prescription ready, even after waiting weeks for it. One time I went in and they said they had no record of me, even though I had just came here after coming from the doctors who put it through for me. Everytime you go, you're in a line with angry people who don't seem to have their prescriptions ready either, it's a joke tbh.
Absolute joke. Needed medication Friday was shut with a queue outside. Went back Saturday to be faced with a long queue. 4 out of 5 people when getting to the front of this long queue were told there medication wasn't available. Asking people if they were desperate!!!!! Cause they are desperate its medication! Never in my life known nothing like this place currently sitting here waiting for them to scramble to sort medication they should have had available days ago. Its an absolute car crash. People are kicking off and getting angry which to be fair is understaable as this is a regular occurance. Something needs to be done with this place . Absolute disgrace ????
Weren’t allowed in, shutters down, doors locked during opening hours. Had to knock on the door and wait outside for service. When I say service, I got a rude ‘I dunno’ when I asked when my prescription would be filled. Came back the next week and it was heaving full inside and roasting hot. Staff shouting at customers about why their prescriptions weren’t ready. I was told to come back an hour later and it’d be ready. Came back, shutters down again, door locked - closed for lunch. Came back for the third time at the end of lunch to find all the crack heads outside banging the shutters demanding to get in. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Turned up on time to take our fit to fly tests that had been booked in several weeks in advance, only to be met by a horribly rude member of staff that basically said “sorry we are closed” then went away for 5 mins only to come back and send us somewhere else that couldn’t actually do the test we required. Absolute Joke
Lovely staff. Always willing to help. They seem to have been scuppered by staff illness which has impacted on service. This is such a shame as excellent pharmacy normally
Front staff nice, female pharmacist was rude and aggressive. They never have your medication, they don't even check till you come in even if they had your perscription for a week. Usually wait 20-30 mins then leave without my meds and have to come back. Avoid if possible
