Came into Alley Tat with my daughter to get a mother/daughter tattoo. Met a new artist to the shop Clayton and found an absolute Gem!
Very light atmosphere for all your body work needs. It is a "hole in the wall," pun intended, bodywork shop. Run by a chico local for over 4 years and counting now. Very easy going and ready to sling some ink for sure. Alley tats is where my work is done if you are interested here are some pics. I would give this a 5 star if I wasn't such a prude. One of the best and easiest experiences for anybody wanting their first ink or seasoned cartoon characters wanting to fill in the rest of their skin!
Came in late for a walk-in and and the guys were so cool. Me and my girl felt very comfortable the whole time. Not to mention we are beyond satisfied with the work, both of us said it was one of the least painful tattoos we ever got plus the price was great too!! Definitely coming back and would recommend.
Love this place. I think he was the owner but he did awesome work and made he feel comfortable. Hubby and i will definitely be getting the rest of our work done there.
Every tattoo artist is different so you really can't blame an entire shop for 1 bad worker. Plus if ppl actually read the waiver they are signing. It states that the business reasons. The shop is not responsible for anything you get done after you leave, weather for happy with it or not, then say something before they finish.
Ben did 2 portraits for a great price. He aslo threw in the initial names plus 1 for another portrait I got years ago after he gave me a quote. But what I like most is that he treated me good. Very respectful, made sure I was comfortable, talked about whatever,
and most of all the way he applies the tattoos didn't hurt as much as it always had in the passed at other tattoo shops. He said it would take 3 hrs to get them done and it was. Even though I stopped a few times to smoke outside and have a drinks. I didn't even looked this place up or heard of them. It's only been 1 day and the tattoos haven't scabbed up yet. It looks like it's been there for a month. I guess it's because he wasn't hard with the machine.
Def going back plus my significant other.
Oh and I love the name of the shop.
Just want to warn people out there , I went to Alley Tats tattoo and asked for a design and put down $200. I came in for the tattoo and left about 4 hours later , within 3 days I could tell something was wrong and called the shop , he told me to come in and he would fix it. I went in for another 2 hours and left again . About three days later this is what I was left with .... I called the artist and asked for my money back , at first he said sure no problem and that he was sorry then when I showed up to get the money he was not there . I called and he said that he was at the ER and now was only willing to give me $100. I told him that this was his work and it was horrible , he then proceeded to tell me that he would stab me and end my family if I told anyone about this .... This guy gives artists a bad name and for your sake I hope you never have the displeasure of meeting him.
I just got my 2nd tattoo from Ben. He is a great tattooist/artist, who listens to my ideas and then makes them 10x better than what was in my head. Bens final product from my mind to my skin is AWESOME!! He is very organized and focused while tattooing. The flames he tattoos are also badass!! The tattoos are a great price and the quality of work is outstanding. The owner is a down right cool dude and the rest of the staff are great too. They are very attentive to my needs and always smile and greet me when i walk in. The shop has a cool vibe and is very clean. I will definitely be going back to Ben for another tat. I highly recommend Alley Tats if your looking to get tattooed!! ????????????
Hey I am giving the best review I've ever experience so far I absolutely love my new tattoo The nice tattoo guy did amazing work on it I love the colors and I love how it turned out and in I am in a good mood with my new tattoo I am giving all of the stars for this pretty please keep it up you guys do amazing and wonderful tattoo work
