I went for lunch and ordered Tandoori Appetiser, Mango lassi & special Chicken Biryani.
I personally didn’t like the platter at all.
It basically consists multiple chicken and fish appetisers.
Chicken was really over cooked, very dry and hard. I was having hard time eating it all. I’ll give 2 out of 5.
Mango lassi was good but I had better mango lassi than this one. So 4 out of 5.
Chicken Biryani was good and you can try this over here.
I didn’t try other items so can’t comment on those.
I would not prefer to visit again but those who love Indian food can definitely try other items but I would not recommend the platter at all.
I hope the food quality will grt improve in future.
Overall I will give this restaurant 3 out of 5.
They have new management apparently but they dont know how to make certain basic indian foods. For e.g. The paranthas are a joke. There is no chana in chana bhatura only the gravy with a few chickpeas here and there. The manchurian is just a vegetable marinated with a sauce. The server was very nice, apparently the only on on shift catering to everyone on that day. Feel bad for him.
Very bad experience! Compared to other Indian restaurant, I always like the food from this place. I order for special "PANEER" Biriyani, and they gave me special 'CHICKEN" biryani. As I am a vegetarian I have never eaten non-veg in my life! I walked from Atwood to this place for my dinner and I was hungry, but after seeing this I was very upset.
* If you have confusion in take away please ask again, but don't give the wrong item, especially when it is veg. I never through food, but this is complete waste for me!
Great gluten free and vegan options with top notch ingredients. Everything was wonderful. Tons on delivery drivers picking up food.
Great place to have indian food in Pittsburgh! Delicious food, always fresh with lots of flavors. For vegetarian’s Special paneer biryani is super delicious. Paneer tikka sizzler is a way more awesome. Quantity is good enough for two people.
We are regular customers and have been coming here for a long time. The food used to be good, but recently it is not as expected. It seems they are just reheating the food and adding green chilies based on the spice level we request. The idlis, in particular, are terrible—old, hard, and obviously reheated. When we asked to speak to the manager or person in charge, the staff responded rudely and said no one was available. We were very hungry when we arrived and left extremely disappointed. I hope the manager sees this and takes action.
Excellent food, expertly seasoned and cooked perfectly! The dude at the counter was extremely polite and my gf and I both had an amazing time! The tables and booths were very comfortable and I loved the color scheme they had going! Interior was clean and well organized, this place has good vibes!
People were nice but food was terrible. They charged us dollar extra for a so-called special biryani and it was some weirdly cooked chicken and rice. That defeats the whole purpose of buying Biryani. They serve bottled water and charge you for it and you have no choice for normal water. Goat korma was decent but super disappointed with the quality of Biryani and Bhaji.
