A pub we used to avoid, now very much improved and making the most of the grassed area and view over Rivington. We won't be avoiding it again.
When you walked in there was a fire ???? which was welcoming as outside was really cold. Also the night we went was khrock
Came here on a Saturday with a friend while the karaoke was on. The owners were serving drinks and they were very friendly.
We talked to the DJ running the karaoke as well and he was also very friendly.
The drinks were reasonably priced and there was a decent selection available as well.
I don't get much chance to go to the pub these days but next time I do I will definitely be popping back in.
Went for Coppull Folk Festival, a great event with some fantastic music and great company. The couple running the pub were very warm and welcoming.
Great local.. wonderful choice of ales. , They don't do food, so it is a real pub..a pub for drinkers. !!

Travelled from Hull to watch my sons play rugby, stayed over and spent a great night enjoying some very good karaoke. Great choice of draught lagers Berra Moretti, Corona, Stella, Carlsberg and Carling all on draft. Brendan the landlord had a great night as his good lady Janet put on a birthday celebration too. Very welcoming. Will visit again next time we play a Wigan team.
