Everyone here is excellent. Very calm atmosphere. No loud music . Haircuts and styling always beautifully done. Eyebrow waxing is always done with care. I love Alicia she's wonderful!!!

I have been coming to Alicia for about a year now to color my hair. I had gotten a split hair dye and had been trying out different hair salons (ranging from inexpensive to very expensive) around Pilsen to find a good colorist. I jumped around every month struggling to find someone who wouldn’t mess up my split hair dye. Finally, I found Alicia’s hair salon and Alicia is the best. She was so thorough with the bleaching process, making sure the line in my split dye was straight and she made sure my blonde side and black side were exactly the color I wanted. I was so impressed by her technique and professionalism that I decided I would never go to anyone else. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Alicia if you want quality and high-end results. To top it all off, her prices are the best around the area. Don’t waste your money at other gentrified ‘high end’ establishments in the area, book your hair appointment with Alicia!

Terrible place. Asked for just ends and they cut off too much. Dried my hair with the oldest hair drier. Took them 2 hours just for a hair cut. Really. 8 don't think their hair dressers are professionally trained.

I like going there for waxing my eyebrows, it's always well done. Same for simple works such as cutting off split ends or wanting to dye/ touch up your hair.

But they are out of their depth when it comes to different work. I went in wanting an asymmetrical haircut and for my hair to be dyed silver. The haircut ......not so bad. One side was fine but on the other side the hairstylist shaved off more hair than i would have liked. And for the dye job...i did not get silver at all. I was left looking blonde. I would have felt better if they told me from the beginning that they were not used to doing work like that and sent me off to another salon.

I had waited for so long to dye my hair because I wanted my natural hair color as a base color. I had an ombré done at Alicia’s Beauty Salon about a year before. I talked to the owner over the phone about getting a “balayage” not an ombré any more. She said that I wanted what are considered “high lights”. I repeatedly told her that I want a balayage. She said ok, and booked me an appointment. When I went in, we went over what I wanted. I had shown her pictures of exactly what I wanted. I trusted her to dye my hair again! The process was long. When she was done rinsing my hair, I looked in the mirror and it was not what I had wanted on my natural hair color! I tried to stay calm and she said they look good and still had to add a toner. After the toner she left my hair literally purple! She didn’t give me an option of what color toner she was going to put on my hair. She just said “you like ash colors right?” and went to the back storage room and mixed the colors. She saw that I was upset already so she said she would put another color to see if the purple would go away. I specifically ask her if that was going to change the color of my natural hair color and she lied and said no! After she rinse that color off, my hair was still purple, and my natural hair color had turn light brown!! I literally started to cry because it hadn’t been the first time she had done this to my hair. This was the third time I went to Alicia’s Beauty Salon and paying for something I did not want. I was sitting in her chair with an ombré on my tips, purple highlights on top, and light brown base color! Which the highlights weren’t even all the same color!! She tried to get one of her employees to say that my hair looked fine, and the employee just replied by saying yes, but didn’t even looked at me. When I tried to respectfully explain to her that I trusted her to do what I was going to pay her to do, she would turn on her blow dryer to shut me up. She told me that her work was very well done, and it was just me that didn’t like it! She didn’t own up to the fact that she gave me something I didn’t want. She didn’t offer to fix it. She didn’t apologized. She knew what she had done to my hair and I still have pictures to prove it! She could’ve been honest with me and said she didn’t know what a balayage was. Or that she didn’t know the technique other hairdresser use! Even though I did not pay at the end for this service, I will definitely will not be returning to this salon again. I only wrote this because I wouldn’t want someone else to go through what I went through.

Worst experience ever. I went in for an ombre and came out with three different colors on my hair. Not professional work!!! Told me whatever it was been applied won't changed my natural hair color and it did. Professionals should know this. Now i am stuck with this terrible work and have a graduation in a week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. Plus they're super expensive for their shitty work.

They have great hairstylists. They do their best to cut/style your hair the way you want it. They also give great suggestions.
