We ordered country fried steak great flavor with potatoes ???? with onions And scrambled eggs.Full order of biscuit and gravy was very flavorful and delicious with chunks of sausage !! The steak sandwich was thick cut ands tender and the fries were CRISPY!! Everything here was great and flavorful.. highly recommend our bill a little over 44$.. when adding our 2 coffees and soda
Food tastes just like a home cooked meal. Service was extremely good here as the employees came by for coffee refills. Would definitely eat again.
Step back to a place time forgot (other than the worn-out barstools). What a great spot for a good home style meal. The staff is super friendly. The food was like I remember back in the day. Nothing fancy, just good. The prices were super fair. This hidden gem will surprise you. Make sure to use your GPS as over the years, the freeway changes, have kind of buried it.

Oh my, Alice’s. The service can be a bit questionable and confusing at times but they get your food right and on time, even when packed(which is the usual). The food there was very good, the tuna sandwich I ordered was cold and crispy and not too sweet or salty. Their famously good french toast was fluffy and sweet but not overly filling. Finally their biscuits and gravy, a main stay of the American breakfast and did not disappoint here at all. This is in fact one of the few places I like eating biscuits and gravy at. Great place overall and it a little out of the way and in the middle of no where, but is worth the visit.
Alice's is exactly what you'd hope to find in a local diner: a charming, old-style eatery with a welcoming atmosphere. Navigating here was tricky with Google Maps, but the slight detour was worth it. The staff was genuinely friendly, and I enjoyed sitting at the counter, where service was swift. I ordered the Meat Lover Omelet, which was generously sized with bacon, sausage, ham, and cheddar cheese. While it wasn't the best omelet I've ever had, it was quite satisfying. The diner had a warm, community vibe, with locals enjoying breakfast over lively chats and coffee. It's a solid choice for anyone looking for a no-fuss, hearty breakfast in a place that feels like the heart of San Bernardino.
Let me get this out of the way. The place isn't in the best neighborhood BUT the food and service at this place is fantastic. And although the building is a bit older, it seems like it's kept clean. Don't let the building fool you, this is a great restaurant. I would definitely go there again.
First time visiting this place in all the year’s I’ve lived in this town! Alice’s is a breakfast and lunch diner with your typical fare. Food is really good and portions are generous. Service is also great. It’s tucked away on a side street near a freeway, but you can’t see it if you don’t know it’s there. I’ll be back!
UPDATE: I’ve been back here four or five times since my first visit. The staff is great, and the food is consistently good. Adding pics as I wind my way through their breakfast menu. ❤️
