Took my car for state inspection and waited 2 hours and there was only 2 cars in front of me when I arrived. They stop doing state inspections at 3 on Saturdays but they took lunch between 1-2 and didn’t say anything to cars waiting
Today morning I went to fill up my gas and needed quick assistance from the staff who works at the gas station counter, but he was rude, did not greet, and was unwilling to help. He falsely claimed that anyone who doesn't know how to fill up gas on their own, will lose their license next week according to a new VA law??? I have never heard such nonsense from any gas station. Why work for customer service if you don't want to help customers?
Great service from the head mechanic Luis. Extremely friendly and up front with the issues I have with my car so other shops don’t try to take advantage of me, and he PERSONALLY shows me whats wrong with it. I’ve been coming to this shop for years and it has yet to fail me in any way. Whether it be inspections, oil changes, brakes, etc. I have never have issues with the shop, don’t be discouraged by some of the one star reviews, most of those are by cheap customers trying to get the best service for lowball prices, trying to blackball this store. Once again great shop!
I called to ask hours for getting my car inspected and was told 8-5PM. When I arrived the attendant (J somebody from his shirt name ?) told me he was going to eat lunch and would not do it--he told me to come back later. I explained I could not return before 5PM; his response: "not my problem".
I was 3rd in line for state inspection. Waited for 30 minutes. When my turn came at 1:23pm, no one was to be found. Everyone just dissapeared. I went inside to find out it was lunch time which would last for an hour. I wish they informed people before we get in line regarding random lunch closures. I actually informed the cars behind me who were unknowingly waiting for inspection because they couldn't be bothered. Lunch hours should be posted in an obvious location. I called to complain, and was told no manager or owner was available.
I’ve had an oil change done here along with state and emissions inspection. No problems at all. I just waited at the Starbucks next door.
***Dishonest***. State Inspection operator used extortion to make me service my vehicle at his shop. I've been coming to this station for 3 years and never had a problem. This time I had lights out and refused to pay $60 to replace 5 bulbs (I can do it myself in 15 min. for $6 [price of bulbs].) He then failed my other vehicle (which he had passed for 3 years running) because of a hairline crack in a mirror which has been there since I bought the vehicle ten years ago. Then he makes a point to say that when I bring it back there may be "other" problems. I'm never giving this station my business ever again and recommend you don't either.
Please don't take your car here! My mother-in-law took her car here (the one she uses to drive my children and all her grand babies in) and they damaged her wheel! Lisa the service manager said they would replace it because it was the mechanic's fault but has now gone back on her word! Please don't take your car here!
Update: after 2 weeks since the damage they finally did right and replaced the wheel, would have added more stars if they hadn't caused my mother-in-law all that stress
