Decent local baker; good selection of cakes and savouries. Their pies are some of the best around, so are their rolls. They also do a selection of hot takeaway food (filled rolls, soup etc). I would personally recommend their large caramel tarts ????
Got brought soda scones to Spain by Hamilton folk. OMG they are delicious.. I'm Northern Irish and have never tasted soda bread like it...absolutely incredible, thank you!!!!
Found what I believed to be a bit of glass baked inside my 4 year old sons sausage roll, thankfully I cut his food up for him, took it to the shop & spoke to the owner who snapped it and told me it was infant plastic, he believed to be from a light fitting as he had contractors in working in his bakery, the bit was the size of my thumb nail, very cloudy so it had obviously been baked in the pastry, very thankful my son didn’t eat it as he is non verbal, I would have never known what was wrong. Nasty bakery!
The soup is incredible so nice place to buy breakfast.
