This place has a nice customer service. Best food and has big servings. Worth every penny we spent because the food is super delicious. Highly recommend restaurant. Definitely coming back to eat more delicious mexican food.
Very good food! On my last visit, I tried the Caldo de Pollo dish. It was excellent, and the serving was enough for two. They also brought me a very good Chile Relleno. They have a nice salsa bar with an interesting selection of freshly prepared salsas.
This place is amazing. Service is excellent and it’s super clean. The owner very obviously takes pride in what he offers and prices are fair. Salsa bar should be even more put on the map than it already is - different chip toppings and unlimited access. This place really is a gem! We got the deep fried California burrito with Diablo sauce and Tacos Al Pancho with Al pastor, carnitas, and steak. We also got a kids meal and a pitcher of beer and our bill was under $50. This place is great!
This may be our new favorite Mexican restaurant! It was definitely worth the try during our visit to Roanoke. The Queso Fundido was incredible! My wife had the Fajita Quesadilla & I tried the Chicken Chipotle Crinch Burrito. Everything was delicious-- especially the burrito! It was huge, savory, and saucy! They have a complimentary salsa bar & chips for those eating in. The restaurant was calm and cozy, which was just what we needed. The staff was very friendly, and the young lady who was serving us was especially friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

Don't let the small size of this resteaunt fool you. Their food is packed with flavor and their drinks are really good. The service was very good.
The only thing I didn't quite understand: they give you chips, but if you want salsa, you have to pay to go to the salsa bar, which was very odd.
All in all, everything was great, and if you're up to it, they also offer outdoor dining in a small but comfortable area beside the sidewalk.
Small menu with excellent food. I had the 3 taco platter with shredded beef, and it was outstanding. Beef was succulent and flavorful, flour tortillas were loaded with meat and shredded cheese. The green salsa set it over the top. Probably some of the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time, and I have a pretty high bar when it comes to Mexican food. The prices were very reasonable. We didn't have any margaritas, but the ones we saw going to tables looked good -
This place never misses. This atomic burrito was very tasty and not as hot/spicy as I thought it would be.
I love Alejandro’s and believe they are the best Mexican restaurant in town. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty (and portions are huge!), and of course they have their chips and salsa bar. Unfortunately due to the pandemic and the current economic situation, menu prices have gone up, and the salsa bar is limited to just six different salsas (I think in the past they had around 10 or so?). Just something for customers to keep in mind if they have different expectations. I hope they get their full salsa bar back and that prices can come down a bit.
