Hands down the closest you’ll get to authentic, fresh and delicious Italian food! It’s like you walked into a cozy typical restaurant in Italy! They treat you like family and you feel as if you’re having Sunday family dinner at your nonna’s house. The food is made to order, with fresh ingredients and you can tell made with love! You can hear the Chef Aldo singing, and he takes the time to greet you, the service is so friendly! So happy that this hidden gem has arrived and will hopefully be a staple for years to come in this area! Can’t wait to be back Chef Aldo and his daughter are the sweetest!
Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the area! Have been twice by myself and I brought my parents once for Mother’s Day and they both loved it too. I would 100% recommend their penna alla vodka w/ prosciutto and the bucatini alla carbonara! The only item I would avoid is the lasagna, which only contains meat sauce, ricotta & grated parmesan. In my mind, either bechamel or mozzarella is required for a lasagna to be great, and they are both conspicuously absent here. Servers were all very friendly and welcoming! Kitchen is a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait!
We came to Aldo Yo’s on the recommendation of some neighbors and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was nice and we were one of the only couples in the restaurant. Our waitress was great and attentive to us during our visit. Unfortunately, the food was a bit lacking. Both of our pasta dishes (lasagna and carbonara) were fairly al dente. The flavor of the lasagna (my dish) was great. It was simply undercooked. The pricing was great as you can certainly spend a lot more on food of a lesser quality. Will come back sometime when we’re in the mood for Italian.
Honestly my expectations were not very high as I could not find much information online about this place and also didn't knew anyone that had been.
The food is amazing tasty and simpler well prepared, you can see the chef knows what he is doing!
The service is like a family environment everything goes with the flow and there isn't a script they follow like on the chain places you go!
Hands down the best Italian around!
The deserts are also very good
Sunday evening, quiet in the restaurant. Loved every morsel starting with the fresh Italian bread served with olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic. I saved this for my beef carpaccio served with an arugula salad topped with shaved Parmesan. The arugula was tossed with the perfect amount of lemon and olive oil. Every bite was perfect, Paired with the Valpolicella wine. I chose the Bucatini carbonara. The sauce was creamy, the pancetta was perfectly crisp and the pasta , al Dente. My husband had the veal ravioli with mushrooms. Perfectly prepared.
The portions were enough for leftovers, which I look forward to. Thank you Brad for your very detailed descriptions of all the specials and excellent care. I look forward to coming back. The best part, it’s small and intimate, like you’re having dinner in an amazing bistro in Italy but it’s right here in DeBary.
Aldo Yo’s is a gem hidden in plain sight. My husband and I went here tonight for the first time for our anniversary and it definitely won’t be our last. The dining room is quaint but very inviting. The service was fantastic but the food was definitely the star of the show. We started with the Tagliere di Salumi which was amazing and for our entrees we got the carbonara and one of the specials which was a pasta dish with short rib. Everything was so fresh and authentic that it was hard to imagine we were still in debary. Everything is very reasonably priced too! Hands down one of the best restaurants in our area, if you have been wanting to try it- run don’t walk, this place is amazing!
FINALLY!!!! We finally made it to Aldo Yos and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. The waitresses we so friendly and busted their butts even those the table next to us we being so nasty to the whole staff. They delt with them with professionalism and grace.
I just had dinner last night at Chef, Aldo’s Cucina Italiana and it was a great experience.
The establishment is quaint and very personable. They’ve been open a little over two months and it definitely the best Italian restaurant I’ve eaten at in a 30 mile radius (I can attest to the quality since I lived in Italy for 4 years).
I had the linguine Di Mare and it was extraordinary; my wife had the ravioli filled with butternut squash and cream sauce with pork cheek…it was an incredible dish. Chef Aldo is in the process of hiring additional staff; but in the meantime visit the restaurant be patient and enjoy real Italian cuisine. You will definitely recommend to your friends and crave a return visit.
