Stopped for gas and rest break on our adventure to Maine. Super friendly local folks who after hearing my voice, asked where I was from. After saying LA and getting some curious looks I explained that I was from Lower Alabama. Stop and visit if in the area.
I asked my wife to order me the burger basket. So that's what she did. She asked for the burger basket and they said "ok".
I pick it up and take it home. Open it up and see that it was literally a hamburger in a bun. That's it. Nothing else.
I've been going here for two years now. It's very hit it mis. They go through a lot of kitchen staff so that must be it? I'm getting tired of it not being right so often.
Ijust wanted to let you know that I go to the minimart a couple times a week and everything is always good. I went in last Monday around 3 in the and the girl that made my chicken basket was so bubbly and friendly. She said it was her 1st day. She did awesome and I probably had the best chicken basket ever. Just wanted to pass on the positive feedback. ????
Very unhappy with the service here, stopped in with friends while snowmobiling and ordered food, food took a while to be cooked while both kitchen and register staff were on their phones, and then nobody thought to tell us when the food was done instead of letting us wait in the dining room and kitchen staff went on to make their own food. Waited 45 mins to get up and ask and by then the food was cold. Now we’re not going to make it home until after dark since lunch turned into a 2+ hour endeavor
Sadly this place has gone down hill the last years and today was the final straw . My husband and I ordered dinner last night and my husband got a pizza it was 90% raw and soggy , the cheese was barley melted. My husband called to let them know, and the woman was extremely rude making it sound like she didn’t believe him at all, never said sorry never gave any options on what could be done only said “ well bring it back and we can take a look at it ourselves and see what we can, we can’t do anything till wee see it or call so and so TM and tell her” The food has been getting worse and worse and employs are so rude.
Since Barry sold the stores they have gone down hill bad. Stopped there today to get lunch at 12:50 and was told the kitchen was closed. Closed? At 12:50 on a monday?? So much for a working man getting lunch here. Spent $5 on a pre-made turkey Italian outta the cooler and took 2 bites and threw the rest in the trash. Save yourself the agitation and just roll up the street a mile and get lunch at Dow General or 201 variety. I think it's worth mentioning that I have been a avid supporter of the mini mart since Barry had taken it over, and had always been a very satisfied customer. New owner is failing to stack up.
Two times now horrible sandwiches - would definitely suggest going to another location for a lunch or meal. They can't make a chicken sub right or a ham Italian with EXTRA MAYO. They need new cooks who actually listen, care & know how to do even basic kitchen work.
Horrible service the staff are rude and think there entitled and they burnt my pizza would never recommend this place to anyone
