Good store, I'd love to give it a better review but this really bothers me and needs to be said.
They have the worst pricing structure I've ever had to deal with. There are 3 tiers of pricing to almost all their products, "normal" price that nobody pays if you register your phone number, "sale" price that is the actual price of the item with your phone number and that's typically 20-40% less than "normal", then a second tier of sale price that you need to scan a barcode in the store with your phone to get. I've literally had to leave the store, go home and return because I forgot my phone to save $10 on like 3 items. Then, the second sale price is limited on some items. A pizza I got the other day was $9, $6 on sale, $3 if you scan the coupon *limit 3*. I scanned the coupon and it came to $6 at the register. Thinking back, I guess I bought the same pizza on the same sale like 6 months ago? The app doesn't tell you. So now I have to memorize everything I've ever purchased here to know what I'm paying. This is all to say you will never actually know what you're paying for anything here until you get the the self checkout lines. Terrible business model, and they can track all your shopping history.
Wow! This has to be the cleanest, neatest, and most organized Albertsons store I've ever seen! There were lots of store employees available to help, the produce section, fruit section and meat section were impeccable. They had beautiful fresh flowers and lots of party stuff. And they have a great organic section. Plenty of checkout lines also. Very nice store to shop in. I highly recommend it. Really, I'm not kidding!
Pharmacy staff is very helpful and understands that their job is serving patients, and not just getting pills into bottles. Very helpful staff. 4th pharmacy in the area I’ve tried they are great, whereas the others around here such as Walgreens or Frys just seem to not care. Recommend 100%
We really love this store and the staff there is always helpful. Very good selection and be on the look out for great deals that pop up regularly.
The employee, Chase, in the Starbucks at Tramonto 3130 W Carefree Highway, Phoenix AZ 85086 is very helpful, courteous and friendly. He's helped me a couple times at Starbucks and has delivered consistent outstanding service! Thank you Chase!!

It is unfortunate that Google does not allow you to leave multiple reviews for different bad experiences. Shopping at Albertson's this morning continues to remind me why I love shopping at Fry's Marketplace. Trying to use their app in-store is a train wreck. I was searching for veggie burgers but you can't actually search for a product that might be in the store and what aisle it might be on. Every time I use a search feature the app would tell me there was no such item or coupon. Then as I'm checking out when I was scanning the 20 lb bags of ice the system does not intuitively recognize that I'm not going to place a 20lb bag of ice on the bagging scale. So I had to keep heading skip bagging . After the fifth time the system froze up and said I needed assistance. How hard is it for you to program your computer to know that nobody's going to put a 20lb bag of ice on the bagging scale? I mentioned something to the manager and he was a little cynical. Typically that would be funny if I wasn't already annoyed for spending twice the amount of time in Albertsons than I needed to because they're stupid app doesn't tell you where the products are! Fry's is lucky Albertsons is here and it explains why I can always find parking at Albertsons but I can never find parking at Fry's!
Prior complaint- the main reasons I shop at Fry's Marketplace every chance I get and stop going to Albertsons is because of this. 8:30 on a Saturday night and only one check out open with a ton of people in line. I avoid Albertsons like the plague and only come here in emergencies. In addition to never being staffed enough they're always rude when you're here. Where at Fry's they always have plenty of lines open and almost always everybody is friendly.
