This restaurant has been part of this community a while now, renovated few years ago. It gets busy and service can be delayed but they serve delicious food. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Well seasoned and tasty foods. Customer service is okay, a hit or missed at times. There’s recently a food truck servicing in the parking lot serving special menu items such as the plantain sandwich, not their usual menu items. We’ve tried it and It was pretty good. Our fav is the tasso cabrit, a combination of fried goat with rice and peas, the meal includes a side of plantains and pikliz. Normally, we do not order tasso out except for a few restaurants, and this is definitely one of the spots as they’re pretty good with this dish. We’ve tried many of their dishes and they’re all enjoyable. Also, the fritay, a combination of deep fried fritters is also pretty good. Parking space can be limited as this is an extremely busy plaza shared with other near by big-box retailer like Walmart. We have not had a dine-in experience at this location pre/post renovation but we’ve had plenty of takeouts.
Food is pretty good here. The lemonade has a LOT of sugar. The djon djon rice and rice and peas are both good. So is the fried fish and so it the griol
Second time at this Haitian Restaurant. The place was clean. The bathroom was very clean. Even had hot water to wash my hands. The young man who took my order was friendly. The young lady who gave me my food at the pick up station was very friendly as well. She also opened every food container to show me my order to make sure that the order was as I ordered, and it was. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. It's very usual for Island food to be a bit high in Salt, but the food here was on point. Not too strong on the seasoning, but it was full of flavor. Prices are OK. My mom is not easy to please as she is a great cook herself and she gave it thumbs up ????????????????. Highly recommended. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.
The food here is good, but the service needs work. Staff, especially the lady at the front, seem indifferent and don't prioritize customer needs. They ignore phone calls entirely, just waited a whole hour for my food. However, there is a guy who, although busy, does his best to help out. Hopefully, they make some changes soon. Better communication and hospitality would make a big difference in the overall experience.
***Be Aware***
While visiting my brother in Palm Beach on 4/2/2024 we went to this restaurant to order some food and have a good time. Unfortunately, we had a pretty bad experience. The receptionist was very unprofessional and didn't care about our needs. She couldn't even help us with the menu, which she told us that we need to go the restaurant's website to see it (pretty weird), I asked her if there was an app, she told me she didn't know.
Long story short, the griot I ordered myself was bad for the price and was poorly presented. Worst place. I will never go to this place again.
I wish I could give them no star. This restaurant keep disappointing me. This my second time ordering from this Albertes. One I have never paid this much for a fish fillet to be delivered burnt and hard. The fish seemed as it was a fish sitting there for days and refried. And second, I never ordered a Haitian Mac n cheese from a Haitian restaurant that look like a pasta that was just thrown together out the pot. You all need to do better.
Customer service is the worst ever, waited over a hour for a ready made dish. When I asked how long for the food after waiting a hour the girl said she don’t know just wait. I will never buy from Albert’s again
02/03/21 Okay, were done. So unprofessional and whenever yoh order just add another 20 -30 minutes to your order.
Visit 9/8/19 the only thing that has change is the interior/furniture/decor, same bad customer service inside. They don't know what they are doing and don't care to improve. The girls in the front all need to be replaced, you guys are loosing business. Two different girls took my order and both forgot to include a full meal, they need to stop speaking amongst themselves. The tall guy working at the food window was able to take care of us, Thank you.
What is the point of calling in your order waiting an additional 15 pass when they told you your food to be ready and getting their and they dont have nothing ready. Having to place your order again; like you didnt speak to anyone at this restaurant. You guys are loosing business i ordered 4 plates of complete meal. Make your customers service and phone etiquette better. I ordered at 8:33pm, arrived at 9:15pm, didnt get food until 9:45pm.
Once you get your food its amazing but you guys need to improve the phones and friendliness of the front staff. People who want to try Haitian food and aren't use to you will not return.
